What are people saying about Normandy

An amazing learning experience!
Our guide, Charles, was from Normandy and he and his whole family had lived in the area for several generations. He was extremely knowledgeable and he spoke perfect English with a beautiful French accent. We had been to the DDay beaches before but we were ‘self guided’. We learned so much more on this trip! And Charles’s commentary both at the sites and on the road was incredibly value-added. We can’t way enough positive about this tour!! We recommend it to everyone!

We had a great experience...
We had a great experience on our full day American beaches / Normandy tour with Adrian. He was informative, pleasant, very knowledgeable, and told the stories in a way that really drew you to where you were and the history came alive. My father is very knowledgeable about World War II history, particularly D-Day, and Adrian was able to share some facts they were unknown to him. Adrian also carried a binder with photos, maps, and other important facts which allowed us to learn more about some of the key figures who had an impact on the success of the D-Day invasion. Thank you again!

A great tour for travellers new to Shanghai
A fantastic tour for people new to Shanghai. My tour guide was Shirley. She did an incredible job, was very knowledgeable of Shanghai’s landmarks and foods. The provided itinerary takes all stress of getting around this massive city. Highly recommend!!!

Band of Brothers Tour April 4th 2026
The Band of Brothers tour by Overload was an amazing experience. It was a day full of history regarding the Normandy invasion and the story of members of Easy Company. We made many stops throughout the area including Omaha Beach and the American Cemetry. We were given time to explore these areas and many more. In addition, we were brought to a small village with several options for lunch. Our tour guide, Guillaume, was extremely knowledgeable and could have spent days sharing the details of D-Day. I would highly recommend requesting Guillaume as your tour guide!

The northern region of Normandy is one of France’s most emblematic, boasting centuries of history, iconic cuisine, and a rich tapestry of cultural heritage. Visiting the D-Day Landing Beaches and World War II sites rank among the most popular Normandy tours, but guided visits can also add depth when checking off must-sees like the Bayeux Tapestry and the Mont St Michel monastery. Beyond the headline acts, exploring Normandy like a local means embracing the slower pace of life: explore the countryside by e-bike or sidecar, stop for a cider tasting amid the orchards, or stroll the waterfront of Honfleur or Deauville.
