An amazing learning experience!

Our guide, Charles, was from Normandy and he and his whole family had lived in the area for several generations. He was extremely knowledgeable and he spoke perfect English with a beautiful French accent. We had been to the DDay beaches before but we were ‘self guided’. We learned so much more on this trip! We had a great experience on our full day American beaches / Normandy tour with Adrian. He was informative, pleasant, very knowledgeable, and told the stories in a way that really drew you to where you were and the history came alive. My father is very knowledgeable about World War II history, particularly D-Day, and Adrian was able to share some facts they were unknown to him. Adrian also carried a binder with photos, maps, and other important facts which allowed us to learn more about some of the key figures who had an impact on the success of the D-Day invasion. The Band of Brothers tour by Overload was an amazing experience. It was a day full of history regarding the Normandy invasion and the story of members of Easy Company. We made many stops throughout the area including Omaha Beach and the American Cemetry. We were given time to explore these areas and many more. In addition, we were brought to a small village with several options for lunch. Our tour guide, Guillaume, was extremely knowledgeable and could have spent days sharing the details of D-Day. I would highly recommend requesting Guillaume as your tour guide!

Mont Saint-Michel Tour

We were happy to be picked up in Bayeux and driven to Mont Saint-Michel. My husband was happy to be there during low tide and get to walk out on the muddy clay surrounding the island. The village and Abby were as impressive as we’d hoped. Our guide, Vi, was full of knowledge and stories than enriched the experience. I enjoyed the scale models of the Mont. Keep in mind the lines for the bus back to the parking lot are long, so we had to wait for another bus, and that made us a little late on our departure.

We had a very informative tour of Pointe du Hoc, the American War Cemetery & Omaha's beach. Our guide Manon explained the significance of the place & events associated with the DDay landings in Normandy. Manon also was kind enough dropped us at the hotel although it was not included in the list of hotels eligible for drop offs. Overall it was a very memorable tour!!

Outstanding DDay tour

To whom it may concern; We had our DDay tour on Oct. 25, 2025 with out tour guide Bertrand Couillard. He provided an excellent experience. His knowledge of the event, and the history that led up to the DDay attack was outstanding. He was pleasant right from the beginning of the tour. He spoke most of the way to our location providing information of what we were about to receive. I really felt his connection since he was born and raised in Normandy. I can’t say enough about Bertrand (Bert) and the enjoyable trip he provided our group. If we ever go back, I would personally request his tour. The trip to the D Day invasion sites was extremely informative and moving. The Omaha Beach site with the thousands of graves of young men shows the tragedy of the war. Information center had very good exhibits and was quite clean and had clean restrooms. Our tour guide, Ash, was professional, courteous, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable.
