What are people saying about Normandy

Family Normandy Tour
Kate was very friendly and outgoing, and extremely knowledgeable about the area and about WW2. There wasn't one question we asked for which she didn't have an answer (and often a visual aide!). She related very well to our two grandsons (6 & 9), and they really seemed to enjoy all of the stops. She was flexible, and often had suggestions that were not necessarily pertinent to the tour's topic, but made our stay in the area more enjoyable. A wonderful day was had by our multigenerational group.

D-Day experience
It was an amazing experience. The three guides were very friendly and very knowledgeable about D-Day in detail. They speak English fluently. You can ask them anything you want—they know everything. They guide you through the different locations where the D-Day landings took place. You have enough time to explore. You get a great overview of that day and learn that the only thing war can bring is absolute disaster.

Great tour and guide!
Absolutely terrific from start to finish. Emilie, who was my contact in setting up the trip, was great with good communication. V, our guide, was equally wonderful. She was really well-prepared with a book of visual aids that really added to the information presented. En route to Pont du Hoc, she laid out the war prior to D-Day, with the resistance and the Vichy government.

A day at Mont SM
“V” was a great guide.. took us from room to room in every area with detailed explanations, history, and facts about SM.. timely pickup and drop off (8:00-430) and a good safe driver. This tour leaves from bayeux, not Paris.. right V? Ha ha Please note since you’re exploring all the abbey you will be going up steps, appx 300 in total.. it is doable but elderly, those with knee or back problems should be aware Highly recommended.. company took care of everything and good communications
