Our DDay Beach Review

Our hotel pickup was a little late which made us nervous. We transferred to a tour bus with our guide for a three-hour ride to the DD beaches. The break at a gasoline station during the ride to the beaches had very slow service. Our guide was friendly, very knowledgeable, and kept us well on schedule. He did a very good job with his presentation.

Worth it!

We had Zoltan (I think that’s how you spell it), and he was amazing and had a wealth of knowledge to share with us throughout the trip. Him and the driver (Jacques/Jack) constantly made sure everything on the bus was comfortable. At the arrival points, we had ample of time to walk through with his amazing commentary and anecdotes. Highly recommend.

Pace and depth of the tour were both outstanding. The knowledge and experience of our tour guide, Kate — amazing. We could feel the passion and emotion Kate has for the history of the soldiers, tactics and challenges surrounding the D-Day invasion.
