Marie Noel obviously loves her hometown of Bayeaux. She shared a wealth of information about the architecture, history and Cathedral. Really great experience!

Excellent and detailed information on the town of Bayeux, starting 250BC to today. I learned the origin of many phrases as well as good amount of history and anecdotes. Recommended.
The walk in bayeux old town was very informative and interesting. The english guide, Crystal was very knowledgeble and clear. The meeting point in front of the tourist office was very easy to find. The town itself is very pretty. The chatedtal is very impressive. The tapastry museum was closed for renovations but the guide had pictures of it.
Christele was amazing and taught us so much! My son got a 100% on the recap quiz at the end! Thank you for such an educational and entertaining tour!

Christile did a fantastic job in explaining each and every historic building and with the ability to bring the history of each from its history up to today including its place during the Normandy removal of German troops.
Great tour of Bayeux with many highlights of the town and its history. We did this on our first day and served as a great start to better enjoy the rest of our time in Bayeaux. Our guide was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic!

This tour is a fun way to learn interesting historical background and snippits of information about Bayeux and Normandy. Christele, our tour guide, totally engaged the group and her sense of humour was refreshing and appreciated. My husband was not initially enthusiastic about taking a historical walk, but really enjoyed it.

Christele was amazing! I’m not someone who easily follows history type tours and she made learning about this city fun and memorable. Her English was perfect as well. I love how she recaps and makes it so interesting! Great tour! You have to book this when you see it cause I saw other tours and they were overcrowded. This one was smaller and a perfect size! I see why it books up weeks beforehand.

Bayeux was the stepping stone to fame of William the conqueror, but his move to Caen decreased its importance as a city, which lasted for centuries and its lack of significant industry and military importance meant no harm to the city during D-day and the remaining 85 days necessary to the conclusion of the Normandy invasion. We had an excellent guide that faithfully described the landmarks of the city.
Good informative walking tour at an easy pace. Guide was pleasant and answered the group's questions. Maybe a bit too much details/time at the church?
I really enjoyed this tour. Marie-Noelle was our guide and as a long-time resident of Bayeux, her passion for the city shines through. She shared a wealth of knowledge and details about the architecture and significant events that happened there. Added more context and appreciation to our stay.

My only complaint is that 1/2 hour before the tour, I was informed that if I was the only one I would need to pay double or have a one hour instead of 2 hour tour. This information should be in the booking information. There were others so it was not an issue but provided a stressful bit of time…

Hi, indeed I was very grateful that you notified us of this because, when we then checked together, I was very surprised to see that indeed this rule wasn’t appearing on the cellphone version except for the confirmation page! Whilst it did on the computer version. This rule is now added in the « What’s included section » so it is clearly stated in the first screens when searching on a cellphone. Be re-assured that the commentary is practically the same since we comment as we walk, with a solo traveler. In the rare occasions we applied that rule, the solo travelers were grateful that they didn’t have to pay for an additional seat to secure the two hour tour or that the tour wasn’t cancelled because there wasn’t the minimum two paying adults. Only the itinerary is reduced to last one hour. I’m very happy that we got to clarify that before your tour so you would enjoy it without stress. I’m glad you enjoyed your experience and that your remark has given us a chance to improve on our service.
