It is a very informative and enjoyable small group tour of the city. As a walking tour, you get to explore and learn about some interesting off-the beaten track histories and sites that the larger tours miss. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and engaging. I did it day one of the visit and it was invaluable in helping to pick out sites to visit again and restaurants and the like.

Enjoyable stroll about town with architectural details revealing relative ages of buildings. Pointed out cider/brandy purveyor who made and then aged his own products in his 14th century cellar. Flight of his products led to conversations with other customers and several bottles flying home with me.

I wish I could remember the name of our tour guide because she was so very good. Loved all the areas she stopped and talked about. She was very passionate about Bayeux.
