Fantastic Experience

Amazing Experience from start to finish. Our balloon operator Juan was the best. The time up in the balloon was approx 1 hour and 15 minutes. He was so knowledgeable and we felt so safe and we were entertained too. Highly recommend paying the little bit extra for a tour guide at the pyramids. Otherwise I think we would have been aimlessly wondering around. Normally dont like tour guides but this was well done.

Amazing experience overall. Loved the water experience. Especially the cave/water portion of the trip. Worth the early morning pickup. Dont be shy about asking for a morning pickup at your exact location. They will accommodate. Suggest to Wear more active swimwear vs fashion swimwear. Beware of the so called waterproof phone holders if you have a Iphone pro max which apparently is too big for the case. My phone got water damage and not repairable sadly.

The tour went very well and I recommend it to anyone who wants a professional and concise tour. Our tour guide was Francisco and he did a great job at explaining the historical information, as well as making sure our group was all together. We also had some free time to explore the pyramids ourselves, to take photos, and meet back at a common location. Nothing felt rushed and the tour seemed to have been done at a reasonable pace. The tour does involve a lot of walking and climbing steps so be aware in case any members of your party has concerns about that. Overall, great experience with this tour group!

Exceptional guide, some considerations to keep in mind

We booked the private tour option as we find that's the best for our family on all-day tours rather than being on a set schedule. Norma was an incredibly gifted and knowledgeable guide. She made the experience wonderful with her care and sharing of the Mayan culture! Isidro was a great driver. We arrived at Chichen Itza, and Norma guided us around the different areas, sharing information about their significance and importance. We toured for about an hour, which we felt was plenty of time. I noticed the set schedule lists 2 hours at the site, but really, an hour is plenty for general touring. Also, note that there is no signage on-site regarding the history, so you really do need a guide to truly understand the historical context. A museum is being constructed nearby, which will be very well deserved and helpful. Multiple reviews mention vendors on and around the pathways. This is correct, but the vendors really are not pushy or in the way, at least when we were there. I also agree that you need to get there early, as the area gets crowded and hot further into the day. Afterwards, we went to the cenote area. The buffet lunch was also there, and it appears to be the lunch for multiple tour groups. We were the first ones there, so the staff lifted the lids for the various trays of food. As we went through the line, flies started appearing on multiple food trays. At this point, we did not get any more food and did not eat anything else. Norma mentioned to the food staff about needing to close the lids, but they were dismissive. Also note that no drinks are included (not even bottled water), and the prices are noticeably on the high side. At this point, we made the decision to skip the cenote swim and go straight back to the hotel. Norma is the reason I still gave this tour a 5-star review, but I felt I needed to provide more insight and considerations.

The excursion was great...

The excursion was great the only bad part was the tequila tastings where they trick u into buying a bottle each at 200$ dollars, the same bottle goes for 10$ at a local liquor store. Also the photos on the boats that they make you take are not free. Enjoy the boat ride but dont get too careless at the isla mujeres island they will charge you for mostly anything.

Outstanding trip in every way! Balloon flight and sunrise stunning! Driver from cdmx very nice professional and on time! Hakim our tour guide was fun energetic and knowledgeable The cultural lessons at the Mercado were excellent Miguel the balloon pilot was both safe and very fun! All of the staff made this a very enjoyable tour. 10/10 would do it again and recommend highly!

Just a short Taxi ride from the port and you arrive at Mr. Sancho's . An amazing experience on a beautiful private beach . All inclusive one day pass is only $78.00 > We upgraded to a Cabana along the walk up pool bar for a hundred dollars more > it comes with 60 minutes massage time you can split 30 minutes each also comes with a dedicated server who will get your drinks or food or whatever you need . I would definitely recommend getting the Cabana for the money it is a great value . The staff was AMAZING every one of them were Friendly and helpful , I can not comment on the food

Do it! You will have a blast and learn new swear words in Spanish!

OMG, what an experience. The food and drink were great, the hosts Gurru and Lulu were so enthusiastic and full of information about the history and culture of Lucha Libre and how we should behave in the arena. So much fun. And we LOVED our surprise souvenirs! It's a short walk from the bar to the taco place, but kind of a long walk to the Arena, so wear comfortable shoes. We learned so many new insults in Spanish that we will cherish forever! Thanks, friends. What a great time!

They explained everything very well, English and Spanish. The pick up was super easy to understand, communication the entire process was important to me and I was never left unanswered and they were on time. The experience overall was great, I would recommend it to anyone who was deciding on wanting to go. You have access to bathrooms before all the activities. The food was good and was an experience. All the workers to our driver and tour guides were fantastic. 10/10 experience

Worth It !!!

I was honestly so skeptical about booking this tour because I had seen such mixed reviews across different websites and social media. My husband and I decided to just go for it, and I’m so glad we did. This tour group was amazing from start to finish. They picked us up from our resort, Riu Ventura, along with other guests from nearby resorts as well. Once you book, they contact you on WhatsApp and send you all the details, including photos of what their vehicles look like, which made us feel a lot more secure and confident that we were getting into the right transportation. The driver also had our names on a list and gave us wristbands right away when we were picked up, which added another layer of comfort and organization. When we arrived, they offered us the option to upgrade to a private tour for $59 per person, which we thought was very reasonable, so we did it. The main difference is that with the larger group, everything moves a lot faster, while with the private option, you really get to take your time and enjoy each part of the excursion. For us, it was absolutely worth it. We did the ATVs, zip lining, the water hole, and the tequila tasting, and every part of it was amazing. The team was incredibly entertaining, patient, and just genuinely warm with everyone. The atmosphere felt fun, welcoming, and full of good energy. We also loved the tequila tasting and ended up buying some tequila to take home. They told us it comes from Jalisco and isn’t available in duty-free, so it made the experience feel even more special. Another great part of the VIP upgrade was that it included unlimited tacos, drinks, snacks, and locker rental during lunch, which made it even more worthwhile. Overall, it was a really great experience, and I’m so happy we did it. I definitely recommend booking with them.
