Top Mexico Horseback Riding

We often go for a trail ride when on vacation and this one was the absolute best! Giovanni and Junior were excellent guides and even let each of us have a turn to gallop on the beach, which was an extra special treat. Their horses were very well trained and never needed correction. I highly recommend this tour!

This was our favorite experience on our trip. The view up the canyon is incredible. The guides do a great job of putting you on a horse that fits you. They allowed time for galloping around the canyon edge for those that were comfortable. Lots of water crossings and crazy climbs. Rodrigo, the guide, and his dogs stayed very close and took amazing photos. That was really my only complaint. You aren't supposed to take pics because you may drop your phone. I wish we could have taken more but he takes several and uses a drone that you can buy at the end. The lunch was FANTASTIC. Highly recommend doing this excursion.

Jorge was amazing!! We learned such fascinating history about charros. He was patient, fun and a wonderful teacher roping and riding the horse. The surprises at the end of the tour really were special and ended on such a beautiful note!! Highly recommend this tour and would bring my entire family should we visit again.

As a family we shared a UTV. It was well used but ran well. The horse riding was entertaining. The park fee was $25 per person. Don’t recall seeing that in the listing. The photos were quite expensive and the tequila was more expensive than most stores. The helmets were quite used and nasty. They expected large tips and guilted us to pay them. Overall though it was a fun time.

A lovely, relaxing horse walk along a beautiful, quiet beach. We were collected by Crystal near our cruise terminal in her car, it was super easy and comfortable. Alex was our guide with the horses and he was kind enough to take photos and a video of our tour which was sent to us by WhatsApp.

We had soooo much fun on this excursion. Sergio was our guide and he was absolutely amazing. Overall the experience was a 10/10. My favorite part was the cenote swimming. It was BEAUTIFUL! I have to add the only downside to this was that Viator says they offer hotel pick up and they ask you to put in your pickup location, however they do not. They will text you prior to pick up with a meeting point and you’re responsible for getting yourself to the meeting point to be picked up.

The instructor was very knowledgeable and patient, explaining everything from basic safety precautions, hand signals, breathing technique and mask clearing. I was anxious at first, but the instructor was with us the entire time, from water entry off the boat, descending and coming back up. If you have been wanting to try scuba diving, I highly recommend!

Rancho Carisuva legitimately offers one of the most genuine experiences in vacation excursions. The staff is lovely and so accommodating. The ranch is a legitimate ranch that focuses on conservation and protection initiatives for the endangered sea turtles. The horses are so well trained and easy to handle, even for us inexperienced riders. This was our second visit as we came in March '23. This 2nd visit was especially fun as after the horseback tour was over, we planned for a picnic lunch on the beach, which is an easy and quick walk from the ranch. It was a perfect outing and we will return again the next time we are in the Cabo area.
