Absolutely unforgettable! The sunrise hot air balloon ride over Teotihuacan was breathtaking! The breakfast at the cave was good! The visit to the archaeological site was amazing! Everything was very well planned! Amazing experience, cannot recommend this enough. Every step of the way was professional. Our guide spoke perfect english and our driver, while he didn’t speak english, provided a very safe, comfortable, and accommodating ride. Our hot air balloon captain too was safe and very precise through the flight and landing. There was not a moment in the experience that my partner or I felt anything but excited and very comfortable. We did bot fly directly over the pyramids but were expecting that could be the case. It is a ballon so it’s flight path is in part subject to the wind. There are also many other flights that take place at the same time, so the airspace can get crowded. Any negative reviews for not going over the pyramids lack sense imo. We still had a wonderful flight and great views of the pyramids btw!!

This is such an awesome experience all around! Its definitely a bucket list item. Getting to fly over Teotihuacan, breakfast on the cave and visiting the site is just breathtaking at each stop. The guides were just awesome at each step. Lastly, I’ll note that the ride between the various sites once you are there is very bumpy and should be prepared accordingly.

We loved the balloon flight and the pyramids. The hospitality was great. Our only disappointment was that we paid extra for the breakfast that fell very short of the extra $100pp. Also they have a professional photographer taking pics of all of us thinking it’s part of the $250pp we paid only to find out they wanted $200 more for them. I would have given 5 stars if the photos were included and we skip the breakfast.
Felt very safe with our pilot Leonardo. A lovely once in a lifetime experience with my wife. A must if visiting.

I enjoyed this trip - must do. The staff was very professional and organized. From the early morning ride, the balloon ride at sunrise, and many other features along the day, it was just perfect.

This was an amazing tour from start to finish. It is well organized and the staff are professional. We were told what kind of car would be picking us up and they remained in contact regarding arrival. Important note, it is cold in the morning while you wait to board the hot air balloon so bring a jacket or wear layers. I would check the weather for cloudiness because if it is too cloudy they reschedule due to weather, but they were very accommodating with that. The views, the food, the pyramids, and the extra little stop for tequila/liquor tastings was all such a wonderful time. I highly recommend this experience and this company!

This was an overall organized and well-run tour experience and what we expected based on the other reviews. The pickup and drop-off from Mexico City were convenient and on-time, and we liked our driver. That was worth it. The people directing our group were helpful and organized. The balloon ride experience and sunrise over the pyramids was really excellent and also really worth it. The breakfast in La Cueva was also great and worth it. For us, the stop after breakfast at obsidian souvenir shops and "happy hour" where they offered Tequila, Pulque and Mezcal was not for our family and felt like a waste of time because we would have rather spent more time at the actual site and pyramids. For us, the time at the pyramids was honestly too short--it did not include the temple of the feathered serpent or enough time at Teotihuacan for us to see what we wanted to at the site. Other reviews had positive guided tour experiences, so it might depend on who you get as a guide. Our guided tour was not worth it because we could not understand our guide (the guide's English was not great and was difficult to understand/confusing), so we did not get any facts or information about Teotihuacan from the guide during the tour (which is why we opted for a guided tour). And our guide also moved too slowly for us on the site--and spent way too much time outside of the site (almost 30 minutes, and we really couldn't understand what the guide was trying to tell us or draw on the ground) before taking us into the site. The guide also moved really slow around the site (which limited what we had time to see), and we ended up with less than an hour inside the actual site before we were being told it was time to leave. That part of the experience was disappointing--we could have probably moved more quickly and seen more of the site if we had just walked it on our own.
The guide at teotihucan did not offer many facts about the history of the pyramids, mainly spoke about the numbers of tourists, vendors and himself. The pyramid tour is also very short and doesn’t include the temple of the feathered serpent. It was very disappointing. Be prepared to be picked up at 3:50 am. The bus also plays loud music the whole time.
Perfect way to see the pyramids!! Well organized and run tour! Had a blast! The balloon ride was great! So was the walking tour!

This was such an amazing experience. The view of the sunrise over the mountains and flying directly over the Teotihuacan pyramids was priceless. The whole tour was well-organized and went smoothly from start to finish. Highly recommend while in CDMX!

We were asked to arrive NO LATER than 5:40 a.m. After taking an Uber to the location (DO NOT FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ON THE LISTING!!! That is the wrong address! ) We still managed to arrive at 5:40 and we signed releases and were offered cookies and hot coffee. All good at that point. At some 45 minutes later, they separated the groups who had paid for all their options and those of us who hadn't. The groups that had, left before us. (even those who arrived last) It was a bit annoying being asked to be at the location ONE full hour before anything actually takes place. I could have slept for an extra 60 minutes and still been fine for our activity. When we got to our balloon, it was beautiful. We were in what seemed to be one of the largest baskets (Held about 30 of us.) and the flight itself was really amazing. The 2nd thumbs down part was the duration of the flight. They promised 40 - 55 minutes and by the 40th minute, we were already down. When you get back to the office, there was no instruction. So, my husband and I started our Uber request- Warning, Uber doesn't offer larger Ubers (for 6 or 5 people) My son went in to go to the restroom and I guess they asked him to call us in (We were right where their shuttle left us after the ride back) and we were offered to pay $1k MXN pesos for a drown video and a few pics. I personally felt unwelcome after that. If we hadn't gone in to use their restrooms, we wouldn't have been approached. Who knows...

Regarding the location, we believe the instructions are clear; we even sent you the location via Google Maps and a photo of our offices via WhatsApp so you would know exactly how to get there.
Regarding the timing, we’re very sorry you felt it took too long. During this season, the appointment at our offices is at 5:40 a.m., and the flight departs at approximately 6:25 a.m. We need enough time to check you and the other passengers in, give you instructions about the activity, allow time for a bathroom break, and a coffee break. It’s also important to mention that, depending on the day, there may be traffic at the highway exit toll booth. If your Uber estimates an arrival time, you’ll likely arrive 10 or 15 minutes later. We take all these variables into account to ensure the activity runs smoothly.
This was a fantastic experience. The balloon ride was wonderful and the archaeological site was mind blowing. We appreciated being picked up directly at our airbnb (and exactly on time). While everyone was friendly, our guide in particular (I think her name was Amy?) went way beyond our expectations, finding help and even buying a cane for my son who hurt his leg during the rough landing. She really was wonderful! (And my son is fine. :) ) Very highly recommended.

This experience was well paced, stunning, and makes the most of your time a Teotihuacan! The sunrise hot air balloon ride over the pyramids is a once in a lifetime experience and is stunning when all the balloon are up in the air together. The landing was a bit rough but everyone was fine. The breakfast in the cave was stunning, followed by a short mezcal tasting, and finishing off the experience hiking up one of the pyramids of Teotihuacan! I would critique our pyramid guide though as he didn't seem very well informed on the history and couldn't answer our questions very well on them. Overall my family loved this experience and it was a highlight in our trip! They make it so convenient by picking you up and dropping you off directly from your hotel!

A must do!!! The experience of the hot air balloon was unbelievable!! I highly recommend it. The actual tour guides were a bit underwhelming. I also didn't like the shopping experience they took us on. We were told we could only shop at the store the tour was associated with. I would recommend buying your souvenirs at the pyramids from the locals.

Expect a fantastic day 100 times worth the lost sleep. The balloons are absolutely magical as they coast over the pyramids. Breakfast in an actual cave, a short touchdown to learn about local products were well coordinated and informative. Our guide for the tour of the pyramids was very knowledgeable and experienced. A guide is essential for this type of historical tour. The entire day was full of unforgettable memories.
Make sure to bring an extra layer for or two in the am.

Apart from the minor confusion about the pick up time, the whole trip was amazing. Beautiful view of the pyramids from the balloon ride, good breakfast, and unique experience of the tasting. We also enjoy the visit of the pyramids very much. All the guides are extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
