This was such a fun way to get to know the culture in a new city, through the lens of food. Johanna was not only knowledgeable about the dishes, the ingredients and the chefs behind them but also about Mexican culture and the Roma Norte area acting as a true tour guide. While the tour was 4 hours, it flew by and felt like a perfect pace between all the food (and drinks) we were offered at each stop. Would HIGHLY recommend this experience during an afternoon in Mexico City!

Good mix of food, drink and a nice group of people on the tour too. Was a nice way to get our bearings as we did this on day one.
Such a great way to kick off our CDMX trip! Loved exploring this cute neighborhood, learning about the history/culture, and trying amazing food/drinks. Camila was so kind & knowledgeable. She took excellent care of us & we highly recommend a tour with her! Come hungry - it’s sooooo much food! This tour is happy to accommodate dietary restrictions/preferences (the vegetarian options were so delicious!). Our group (4 couples) had an amazing time!
Natalia and Nico were excellent guides and the stops were all very interesting and tasty. I would go again.
Such a wonderful experience in which I didn’t only get to sample many unique and delicious Mexican dishes but also learned a lot about the history and architecture around Roma. I love all the flavorful ingredients and sauces, as well as the stories behind them. My guide was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. And the group that I had was super fun as well! The tour is well worth it and I’m glad that I signed up for it.

Elba was very nice and informative. You got a lot of very tasty food. It was a fun time. It was a lot of walking, but there were plenty of rest stops where you get some info on the city and its history.
Natalia was a great host! We had some scrumptious food that represented a great variety of Mexican cuisine. The group size was not too big or too small. Natalia was super knowledgeable and kind and made sure everyone had a wonderful experience! The pace was perfect - not too rushed or too slow. We did take a good 4-4 1/2 hours.
What a way to experience the city of Roma Norte through history and food. Our sweet tour guide, Camila, was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and funny. She brought the local history to life and shared fascinating stories about the architecture and the people. She gave us a deeper appreciation for the culture. Gracias Camila! Expect to try a good variety of food with different flavors but worth it. Lots of history and background provided so you gain a finer appreciation of the vast variety of Mexican food.
Mariana led an unforgettable experience. It amazes me how food coincides with architecture and history. For four hours, I ate several delicious culinary creations and digested so much history. I took notes. We tried food and beverages from half a dozen places, got schooled on the crafting of coffee, hot chocolate and cocktails, reviewed the five of the major architecture movements in Mexico City and learned about earthquakes’ impact neighborhood. It was satisfying and I would encourage everyone to check out this tour even if you’re local.

We had a great time with Marianna doing a food tour of Roma. We went to six great spots, with a wide sampling of tacos, tostadas, tamales, ceviche, mole, chocolate and coffee. As we walked between spots we got an overview of the neighborhood as well. It was a delicious way to get oriented!
Great time to see the Roma area with a super nice guide Camilla. Food choice introduced you to Mexican food from different areas of Mexico and by some of the top chefs.
Introduces you to good and authentic local cuisine. The guide was kind and informative. It also allowed us to see some great architecture from years gone by.

This our was a great way to get introduced to different varieties of Mexican food. Our guide not only took us to the different restaurants, but also explained which region the dished came from. The tour also took us through several beautiful neighborhoods.

This was one of our favorite tours, we highly recommend it. The Roma neighborhood is full of tree lined streets, beautiful buildings and trendy cafes. We sampled foods from different regions and our guide, Johana, taught us about the different ingredients, the preparation, and the chefs. We tried places we wouldn't otherwise have discovered. We also tried green mole! Yum. Our whole family enjoyed this tour, don't hesitate to book it.

Johanna treated us to a delicious, informative tour. Great introduction to the neighborhood and it's culinary fare. Def skip breakfast beforehand. Walking is mild not intense. We really enjoyed it.

The tour was disappointing. Very little explanation as we walked from one venue to the next. The description mentioned open art gallery and rooftop bar neither of which were included in the tour. Our guide was nice

One thing that truly defines the Sabores México experience is the depth of context we offer throughout the tour, from the food and its origins to the architecture and the history of the neighborhoods we walk through. It's something our guests consistently highlight and one of the reasons many of them come back year after year. We're sorry to hear that on this occasion the explanations didn't meet your expectations, and we take that seriously.
Regarding the open air gallery mentioned in the description, we do pass through Plaza Luis Cabrera, a well known public space in Roma where local art is regularly displayed and exhibited outdoors. As for the rooftop bar, that's not something we include or reference in our tour, though cocktails are offered at some point along the way as part of the experience.

We spent 4 hours touring the Roma Nte area with our guide Camilla. She was great. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful with questions and suggestions for the area. We had great food tasting at a good number of locations. We went to places that we would have otherwise never stopped. The food was excellent.
Highly recommend Camilla.

Johana was an amazing guide and it was a wonderful afternoon tasting of Condesa food highlights. One of our best Viator tours.
An enjoyable walk through the Roma neighborhood with well timed stops at respected restaurants for food and drink tasting. The foods and drinks were delicious and varied. Our tastings included various seafood and veggie tostadas and flautas, interesting and unique tamales and several local drinks. Besides the food and drinks we learned a lot about CDMX history, natives and ways of life. Our guide Tania was pleasant, energetic, knowledgeable and always attentive of our safety and comfort.
