Our guide Alex was great. The tour was very informative. There were so many things about Frida Kahlo I didn't know and Alex told the story of her and Diego Rivera's life perfectly. I am very impressed by Diego Rivera's collection of Mesoamerican art and the beautiful work of Frida Kahlo. I highly recommend this tour. 5/5

Viva Frida!

Olivia_d, Jun 2026
Maine was very knowledgeable and well educated in the life of Frida. She had keen insights to her art and was able to provide other views of her work.

A must-do experience.

Livia_O, Jun 2026
I absolutely loved visiting Frida Kahlo’s house, and having a guide made all the difference. Walking through the place while hearing the stories behind her life and work brought everything to life. I don’t think I would have enjoyed it nearly as much on my own. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mexico City.

Highly recommend

Kevin_O, May 2026
We started our tour at a café where we had Coffee and great conversation. After the café, we headed down a few blocks to Frida’s house. Our tour guy went over the rules and explained what was gonna take place inside. Once inside, we learned history about Frida and also Diego. We were able to ask any questions we had. After our tour outside in the garden, we were able to roam freely inside Frida’s home and ask any questions afterwards. Our tour was very informative and our tour guide was very nice and accommodating. Please remember to bring pesos so you’re able to tip your tour guide afterwards. We would highly recommend this tour company. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Worth the price.

Best Art Museum Tour in Mexico City

Margaret_R, May 2026
Juan Carlos knows all about Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera's life together in Casa Azul...and he shared it with us in an entertaining but educational way. Time well spent. Bought a Viva La Vida Frida Kahlo t-shirt in their reasonably priced gift kiosk. 5 star tour guide. Thanks, Juan Carlos, for a wonderful tour.

Response from Host, May 2026

Hi, Margaret. I thank you very much for your kind words, I'm really happy to know you had a great time.

Outstanding Frida Kahlo Museum Tour with Omar

mollymovahed, May 2026
We had a fantastic tour of the Frida Kahlo Museum with Omar from Chill N’Go Tours. He was incredibly knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and shared so many interesting stories throughout the tour. His deep understanding of Mexican history provided great context for Frida Kahlo’s life and work, which made the experience even more meaningful. Another huge plus was the very small tour group, which made it feel much more personal and engaging. Highly recommend Omar and Chill N’Go if you’re visiting the museum!

Response from Host, May 2026

Thank you very much molly for you kind words, we ll be waiting for you at chill n go for a new experience.

Frida Kahlo Experience

Jun_F, May 2026
Cynthia is a wonderful and knowledgeable guide that gave great insights to the life of Frida and the house. She is personable and gave the tour that extra special touch. I would definitely recommend her as a guide to explore this experience.

A great way to learn about Frida

Andres_M, May 2026
Oscar was a wealth of knowledge we would not have learned just attending the museum alone. He was funny and made our entire experience that much better

Highlight of Mexico City!

Hello, Frances. I appreciate your kind words and I'm happy you enjoyed both the tour and coffee.

Awesome time, well worth it!

Had an awesome time touring Frida and Diego’s home. Daniel was very knowledgeable, felt very comfortable providing information. He went at a good pace, gave good history on couple, the area and historical context, would definitely recommend

We had an amazing experience touring the Frida Kahlo Museum with Omar! Before the tour, we met at a cozy coffee shop where drinks were included, which made for such a relaxed and personal start to the day. Omar was incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and shared so much interesting information throughout the tour.

Carlos_R, May 2026
A perfect way to experience the museum. Our guide, Valerie, was extremely knowledgeable, not only in regards to Frida, but also the history of the city. Her insights made the experience that much better! A wonderful tour, and definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to not only see the museum, but learn beyond what is commonly known.

Response from Host, May 2026

Hi, I appreciate your kind words. Hope to see you soon enough for another adventure through my beautiful city! Regards, Vale

Great guide but they're not allowed in museum

Jenna_C, May 2026
Our guide, Juan Carlos, was fantastic and we had a great experience learning about Frida's life and story. Very knowledgeable, kind and great conversation. However, the main reason for the 3 star review is that the guide is NOT allowed to enter into any of the museum with us. That was not clear to me from the Viator description. We explored the museum on our own and then he shared stories while we were in the garden. For the extra price paid for a guide, this needs to be shared more clearly from the description. This is also not a "skip the line" ticket - you are still required to wait in line but it didn't take too long. The coffeeshop meeting was also a little unclear. The Viator page said to meet at a cafe, but the the guide said to meet at a museum and there was no mention of the cafe until prompted twice. The drink I wanted was 15 pesos more than the allocated amount, but instead of covering the extra, I had to pay the entire amount so it should also be clearer what drinks are covered in the Viator description. Still recommend the museum and it was very nice to have a knowledgeable guide but on the fence if it's worth the additional money than just booking directly with the museum.

Great tour, learned a lot.

Richard_D, May 2026
Leonor the guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about Freda and ensuring we had a full understanding. I would definitely say you need a guide to make sure you get the best out of the Museo. The pick up was easy and we received good thorough information before the tour to make sure we were clear on information.

Cynthia was wonderful! Amazing place to visit!

Alison_S, May 2026
Cynthia was an excellent guide to the Frida Kahlo Museum, she provided lots of useful information in between visiting the house and museum. I especially liked seeing Frida’s clothes and physical supports in the separate museum.

Response from Host, May 2026

Hello, thanks for your review, I really apreciate your words. My best regards for you and your family.

Must See in Mexico City

Jesse_Z, May 2026
This museum and Frida Khalo's story really resonated with me and touched my heart. I can't believe I knew so little about her story going in. Valerie was a great tour guide with much knowledge of the history and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mexico city!

Response from Host, May 2026

Ashley_H, May 2026
I had an absolutely incredible experience on the Frida Kahlo Museum tour, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Daniel. From the moment we started, he brought so much depth, passion, and storytelling to the experience that it felt like we were stepping directly into Frida’s world. Daniel is not just knowledgeable, he’s engaging, thoughtful, and genuinely enthusiastic about the history. He connected the pieces of Frida’s life in a way that made everything feel personal and meaningful, not just like we were walking through a museum. You can tell he truly cares about what he does, and it made all the difference. The small group setting was perfect, allowing for questions, conversation, and a much more intimate experience. Nothing felt rushed, and Daniel made sure everyone was included and enjoying the tour. If you’re considering visiting the Frida Kahlo Museum, I highly recommend booking this experience and hoping you get Daniel as your guide. It elevated the entire visit and made it one of the highlights of my trip.

Response from Host, May 2026

Hi Ashley, thanks so much for sharing this amazing review of your memorable experience with Chill N'Go Tours and my performance at the Blue House of Frida Kahlo in Coyoacán. Hope to have you back as part of another cultural and artistic adventure in México City 😃🙏

Say YES to the Frida Kahlo Casa Tour with Viator

Dionne_D, Apr 2026
This was an amazing experience and I am so happy we booked through Viator to get the full tour! Our guide Arturo was so knowledgable and really painted the full picture of Frida Kahlo's life and beautiful home. Viator is very responsive and great prices. Thank you for giving us a memorable experience.

Terrific tour!

Jana_K, Apr 2026
Maite was a fabulous tour guide from Chill n Go. She makes you think a lot about what you see in the museum and gives tidbits about her life you would not get just by reading the info. Skipping the line is the way to go. I have been to Frida’s house many times but learned the most by having a guide. I only wish there was a no toddler option.

Perfect tour at Frida Kahlo’s Blue House

Terrence_R, Apr 2026
Isaac was the best tour guide! We were running late but he didn’t stress at all and gave us Grace given the gridlock in Mexico City. Once we got into the tour, we could clearly see how knowledgeable Isaac was about Frida’s history and her artistic gifts. Our group of 13 had an excellent time at the museum thanks to Isaac!

A Must While in CDMX!

Carlos_F, Apr 2026
If you're a fan of all things Frida Khalo, this is a great experience and must-do while in CDMX! Our tour guide, Ramon, was excellent! He is very knowledgeable about her, the house, and Diego Rivera.

Do not miss this one!

Arden_S, Apr 2026
I came to Mexico City with friends and while they booked something else on this particular morning, I booked the Frida Kahlo Museum, and I'm so glad I did. Absolutely fantastic tour with Daniel of Chill 'N Go Tours! Daniel is so knowledgeable and even better, his storytelling skills make Frida's life - her childhood, her challenges, her incredible talent, her triumphs - come alive. You'll be enthralled for the entire time - definitely 10/10 - don't miss Daniel and the Frida Kahlo Museum!

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thanks for sharing this kind review about my performance and your experience with Chill N'Go Tours at the Frida Kahlo Museum (Blue House). I was happy to be your cultural ambassador. Hope to have you and your friends back soon for another cultural adventure in México City 😃

Frida Kahlo Museum Tour

Anthony_E, Apr 2026
Overall we had a great experience on this tour! - We enjoyed the pleasant conversation, our guide, Ivan spoke english well, and offered deep insight to the life of Frida Kahlo without making it boring! - The separate "guide" part was a little strange at first, but understandable given how small and crowded the museum is. Not much to change there. - We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone! Couple helpful items to share: - although the tour tickets are more expensive, we were able to get a more favorable time 10am vs 4pm than going with regular admission tickets. - there is A LOT to see in the museum. Each piece has a history and the placards near each one weren't always in english. Having a tour guide to translate, clarify, and give context made each piece more memorable than just taking a picture.

highly recommend Cinthya

Sagar_N, Apr 2026
great job by Cinthya! we enjoyed her perspective on Frieda given her education in women’s history. it’s substantially more expensive than booking tickets through the official website but the tour and the ability to get in last minute is worth the price.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thanks for your comments, I really apreciate it. My est regards for you and your family.

Great tour if you couldn't get tickets direct

Minh_P, Apr 2026
First things first: yes it is cheaper to get tickets directly from the official website, but they are usually sold out a month in advance so this is a good (albeit pricier) option if you still must see Frida Kahlo's ancestral home. I had only heard of Frida Kahlo in passing and knew her more as the wife of famous artist Diego Rivera instead. So when I went to this tour I didn't expect much, but our guide Isaac made the experience quite memorable. He explained the history of Frida's life from her troubled childhood to her most famous paintings and tumultuous life with Diego. He also encouraged interactivity through some critical thinking exercises and painted an interesting interpretation of her life. Overall I would recommend this tour if you are looking for an introduction to Frida.

Take the earlier tour to avoid the longer lines. Enjoy the coffee stop after the tour .with the guide Our guide, Rami was excellent! Avoid eating at El Morral in Coyoacan, a terrible meal there. There are lots of places to eat in the Mercado… much better choices.

Very interesting museum & excellent tour guide

donalejandros, Apr 2026
It was the first thing we did in MXC and was really worth it! The place is a small colourful oasis and a big thrill for art/Kahlo lovers. Our tour guide (Armi) was great; funny & informative (thank you)!
