IN some ways this was the best tour I did on ALL my excursions over my 14 days in London. This tour was not expensive, easy access to Cathedral then for no extra money, they immediately set me up with a small group guided by Jane.

This tour was excellent and highly recommended. I wish it were a bit longer as there is so much history. Highlights for me were all the notables in the crypt. Horatio Nelson, the Duke of Wellington and the architect of the Cathedral, Sir Christopher Wren.

Not a tour. Just an alternate way to purchase tickets.
Just use the website as the app is far harder to pay with.
Frank_C, Jul 2026
In person guides said that they were at capacity even though we had reserved timeslot ticket. Because they were not able to accommodate us we were only able to the audio tour.

This was an audio tour and it was very good you and go at your own pace Cathedral is beautiful and worth it
Vicki_D, Jul 2026
My friend made it to the top, but I didn’t try it. The view was beautiful, but I settled for pics. The interior is gorgeous, lots of history. Audio guide was sufficient.

The Architecture of this church is simply amazing and gorgeous.
I like having the opportunity just to casually stroll around and observe things in my own timing

The cathedral is amazing. We took the many steps to the upper levels. Incredible views, glad we were there early as parts of stairs are very narrow.

We put this tour through Viator. Saint Paul’s Cathedral is amazing and worth taking the tour in order to see places within the cathedral, that you would not otherwise be able to access. Once inside the cathedral, you will need to go to the tour desk to be assigned to a guide. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of of the cathedral and we were able to visit the crypt to see the Duke of Wellington‘s monument. Overall, this was a nice tour and a good experience.

Alex E. was a great guide. He was able to answer all questions- a wealth of historical facts about Oxford University. I enjoyed the tour and recommend the tour to better understand the different colleges within the university.

The audio tour is good. I would not tour without it. There are over 800 steps to the top of the dome. I would not recommend it for anyone with health or leg problems.

Not too crowded for a Tuesday afternoon. I did walk to the top (all 528 steps). There are lots of buildings with great views of the city if walking up spiral steps isn't your idea of fun. There was a nice breeze at least. The church is stunning and lunch in the cafe was delicious.

Cathedral was beautiful. We visited on a Saturday morning and were expecting a tour guide ( as others were also waiting for one). We were advised that the tour guide would be a no show and given a headset for a self guided audio tour. This is not what we expected.

We loved seeing St. Paul's Cathedral. With the entrance ticket, we were able to get a headset that we could listen to at our own pace. So wonderful and we learned so much! And definitely make the climb to the top- it's a doozy, but worth it!

It was beautiful and easy to get the band to enter. Used the self guided tour! The audio tour was easy to use and going y
Up the dome was amazing

The booking was for 11.30. there was no tour guide available, crypt was closed at 12.30, and we all had to leave at 1pm as cathedral was closing. Paid for a tour which didn't. Venue was amazing. and staff were apologetic for the inconvenience.

We looked all over for our Viator tour guide in the spot they said on the ticket and in the email and also went to the place some other reviews mentioned they found their guide. I don’t think they were even there. That was disappointing so we just got in and did the audio tour ourselves. Really would like a refund as we could have just paid St Paul’s directly and made a donation for the same experience
Cyndy_K, Jun 2026
No one was available to tell you where to check in. The security guard at the door had no information. The main entry attendant said they could not honor the tickets. We spent over an hour trying to determine how to join the guided tour.

St Paul’s catheral is incredible, many important people are at state in the crypt . This is a must see while in London!
Susan_H, Jun 2026
We were with our 14 year old granddaughter. She wanted to climb to the top, but couldn't because kids can't go up without an adult and we weren't able? A bit disappointing for her.
Spencer_I, Jun 2026
Its very informative & interesting. Enjoyed our visit especially the galleries of which we visited all of them. The crypt was very interesting as well.
Arthur_D, May 2026
Very worthwhile; was admitted even prior to my scheduled entry time--much appreciated on a very hot day. The cathedral is beautiful, cool (temp), educational and inspirational. They are options of guided tours at about 30 minute intervals, or self-guided tours using tablets and headsets.
Miranda_B, May 2026
the cathedral is absolutely beautiful. The audio was very useful. The staff was polite and helpful. I recommend it to everyone.
maya_i, May 2026
The cathedral was lovely and full of history. There was so much to see and learn. The Cathedral offers a guided tour, which was very educational.
Elizabeth_C, May 2026
St Paul's Cathedral could not be more beautiful if it tried! Unbelievably it was so much less crowded than my Westminster Abbey visit the day before. This made for a much more enjoyable experience. I really enjoyed the information provided in the free headset tours. No trip to London should be without a visit to the Cathedral.
Shelli_W, May 2026
We had a wonderful tour by one of Saint Paul Cathedral‘s docents. The Tours only go every few hours so be sure to check the times and arrive early to make sure you get on a tour. Allow plenty of time for exploring either before or after the tour. We also climbed 528 steps to the top of the dome for the views of London, which were fantastic. For the tour, the climb and additional time to explore allow three hours.
Deborah_P, May 2026
It’s a beautiful church with so much history and spiritual feeling. I left with a feeling of joy and peace!
Janet_C, May 2026
Good way to see the highlights of London. Regular buses on 3 different routes. Plenty of stops near to attractions.
The only problem we had, was on the the second bus the audio commentary was broken, as we found this information helpful and interesting on the other routes taken on the day.
A good way of seeing places without getting tired walking.
Richard_W, May 2026
St. Paul’s Cathedral was like nothing I’ve ever seen. Even more impressive than I expected. For the full effect, climbing the stairs to the dome is a must. You’ve got to be in really good shape though. I only made it to the first level.
Wendy_L, Apr 2026
There is no 12.30pm tour as there is a Eucharist service held every day to which visitors are invited to take part.
