We will substitute this site with another College entrance, if not available on your day.
- If you select Pickup option (the more expensive one) the meeting point will be the London address (Gloucester Road Tube Station), otherwise its the Oxford one (15 Broad Street, Oxford)

A great way to see and learn about so many of the top sites of Oxford. Using guides who are current or recent Oxford students is a brilliant idea as their personal experience brings an extra layer of insight and fun. Our guide Thorstein was fantastic - very personable and funny, and full of stories on the history, architecture and people who have created and been part of Oxford. We choose the 3-hour tour which I recommend as you get to see Christ Church with a self-guided audio tour and can spend as much or little time as you want for that last hour.

Good overview of Oxford. I debated b/w the 1.5 / 2 hour and 3 hour and the 3 hour extended adds the Christ Church which is the last hour and if you go on your own the tickets are around 30 pounds and sometimes difficult to get. Afterwards I think the 3 hour was worth it. It also included a very good audio headset.

We only had about 6 hours in Oxford and knew we couldn’t see all the colleges. This tour was perfect as we were able to see a good bit of the colleges and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. We were happy we didn’t try to visit Oxford on our own as we would have missed so much!

Our tour guide Sam's extordanary knowledge of the university was beyond amazing! His ability to communicate while involving all of us made is feel connected to Oxford. We all were highly engaged in the make up, traditions, and environment of the university and walked away fully understanding the gift that this esteemed university gives to the world!

We had an outstanding experience on our walking tour of Oxford University led by an alumnus. It was filled with history and interesting information. We learned a lot about the town, university, individual colleges, and noteable alumni. The Christ Church add-on was worthwhile.

You cannot come to Oxford, and not hear about all of the colleges, the traditions, and the famous and infamous people who attended Oxford and have shaped history for over 1000 years. I really ought to get my money back... I paid a considerable amount for this event, € 187.86 for two people, to enjoy all the activities you offered ...
I even made a special trip all the way from London to Oxford just for this ...
I am extremely disappointed and that is precisely why I am leaving this review.
I also raised this issue at the Tourist Information Center in Oxford, but I was told that I have to direct my complaint to the tour operator, as the staff there are not responsible for the matter.

While some companies may claim otherwise, we prefer to be honest rather than risk disappointment on the day of your visit. If the venue happens to be closed on the day of your tour, we will substitute it with admission to another university college.

Moderate amount of walking to see key sights in central city Oxford. Good balance of free time at a few of the sites.
Ricardo does an excellent job of telling us about the sites, relevant points, and history. He also answered everyone’s questions. Would highly recommend having him as your tour guide.

The reason I bought this tour is because I thought we get a guide for all parts of listed attractions. The description also says around 3 hours but the whole tour was only 2 hours. We were dropped off at Christ Church with our own tickets to go in (I could’ve purchased tickets myself). This was around 1pm. The students’ lunch hour doesn’t end until 2 so we were stuck in there waiting for an hour until they finish lunch to see the Great Hall. I feel like the starting time could’ve been set to later so we go in when the Great Hall is available to tourists. It would be nice if we also have a guide

We had an outstanding three-hour walking tour of Oxford University with Riccardo. He recently completed his PhD in medieval history, and both his academic expertise and his experience as an Oxford student brought incredible depth and authenticity to the tour.
His knowledge of the university’s medieval foundations, traditions, and evolution was fascinating. He didn’t just share facts — he provided context, perspective, and stories that made the history feel alive and relevant.
