Begin in Central London when you hop inside your comfortable, air-conditioned coach. Meet your friendly, local guide, and then sit back and enjoy the sights on a panoramic drive around the heart of this historical city.
See the iconic Big Ben and Houses of Parliament in Parliament Square, and snap pictures of Westminster Abbey where Prince William and Kate Middleton were married in a grand ceremony in April 2011.
Then, gaze up at Nelson’s Column in buzzing Trafalgar Square, and drive to Buckingham Palace, the official London residence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Walk to the palace gates to watch the Changing of the Guard. Look on in delight as the soldiers of the Queen’s Foot Guard, clothed in red tunics and bearskin hats, exchange duties to the regal music of a military band, and learn about this centuries-old ceremony from your guide.
Next, continue by coach to St. Paul’s Cathedral. Hop out for fast-track entry and a guided tour of the landmark.
Afterward, pay a visit to the Tower of London, the medieval prison-fortress that stands on the north banks of the Thames River. Head inside to explore independently, and learn about the tower’s blood-soaked history. - The London Eye ticket is for standard entry around 6:30pm (subject to availability) on the same day. This ticket can only be used for this one visit. Please show the ticket on your phone as the barcode will be scanned. Visit to The London Eye is independent.
- Please note: St Paul’s Cathedral is closed to the public on Sundays and for special events or services. On these days we will stop for photographs outside St Paul's Cathedral and spend longer at Tower of London instead.

Do not take this tour. They left us the buckingham palace, the bus left without us and we were told oh I thought I counted.. by the way you do not see the changing of the guard you see the Soilders march by but you are not close enough to actually see the ceremony. we had to walk to the office to catch up with the tour again then our tour clearly states that admission to the London eye is included -but we were told no it isn’t- I have proof it does in my reservations -we were not bye only ones that had it included and didn’t get tickets. Worst tour I have ever taken.

David Simmons was a great guide! VERY knowledgable and knew how to navigate any obstacles! We had hoped for a high-level trip around top London sites, and that's what we got! The bus was comfy. Be prepared, however, that you can't bring hot drinks on the bus. I was not aware, so had to gulp mine down quickly. I had also been nervous about connecting with the River Cruise and London Eye options that we added, but David explained it perfectly, and we had a great time on everything!!

Not well organized. After starting the tour in 10 min the guide got called back from office to come back and pick up people who arrived late. Our tour was supposed to be 9:00 am start and arrival at meeting point at 8:30am. Why would the tour company Evan’s and Evan ask an already started tour to come back and get people who don’t value rules and time to be allowed punishing the rest of the group who followed the instruction. Because of this we did not make it on time for the changing of the guard. When I complained to our guide David he said “ it will be ok and that he has been doing this before I was born”. Later instead of bringing us to the front gate to see the actual changing of the guard because the crowd was already packed up at the front, he takes us to the side street from where the soldiers march towards the front and says “ oh! there’s nothing special there…..nothing happens there”. This is how you cover up that we lost a good spot bec your company is money oriented who is just more interested in getting maximum profit rather than customer satisfaction. I’ve used Viator for several trips and have been fully satisfied with each tour I have had in the past but this was a big disappointment. One day before this trip I had the trip with Golden tours to Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath which was magnificent! Golden tours did an awesome job with following what was advertised and time management with the best tour guide Bruce unlike this one with Evan’s and Evan who clearly did not give what was advertised. Very disappointing and unsatisfactory tour!!!!

To the Management of Evans Tours.
I am writing to formally request a full refund of $340.00 for the "One-Day River Tour" my companion and I were scheduled to take on Friday, March 20, 2026.
The service provided failed to meet the basic description of the tour we purchased and was professionally negligent in the following ways:
• Misleading Content: We booked and paid for a river tour of London. Instead, we were placed on a bus tour. A bus tour is not a comparable substitute for the experience we purchased.
• Equipment Failure: The "walkie-talkie" audio devices provided were non-functional. We were unable to hear any directions or commentary from the guide, making it impossible to follow the group.
• Lack of Supervision: Despite being told to meet at a specific gate at 11:00 am if disoriented, the guide was not there and made no attempt to contact us. We waited for 1.5 hours before being forced to find our own way back to our hotel via taxi and subway.
• Total Loss of Service: Because we were abandoned by the guide and the tour did not match the booking, we did not receive the service we paid for.
We have left the non-functional walkie-talkie at the Crowne Plaza London for your agency to collect, as it served no purpose for the remainder of the day.
Due to this significant breach of service, I am requesting a full refund of $340.00 immediately. Please note that I have already filed a formal dispute with my bank and they are currently investigating this transaction.
I look forward to your prompt response and confirmation of the refund.

The tour was well organized, did not feel rushed at all on the tour, had plenty of time to see everything except the London Eye (see comment in the end). My tour guide Ruth was very informative and knowledgeable, while doing the tour bus, she would explain the history and fun facts about certain places. I really enjoyed the tour with her! The only comment about this tour are the river cruise and London Eye options, I was not aware that this is done on your own. Our guide just gave directions on how to get there, but did not bring us along, I would’ve liked the tour to include bringing us along. London Eye closed earlier at 6PM which I was not informed or aware of, so by the time I took the river cruise from Tower of London pier to London Eye pier, I missed it by 15 minutes as I got there at 6:15PM, however, thankfully the ticket was valid for 48 hours so I was able to ride it the following day. Overall, a pleasant experience, I did enjoy it especially it’s my first time in London.

Booked this for my cousin. She did not enjoy the tour, she had expectations to spend longer at each location. Also disappointed that the booking stated London eye entry but it was not included with her ticket. Very mis leading wording in the confirmations. Regardless, even people who purchased the London eye portion did not get to go. Overall would book a different tour in the future or do a hop on hop off tour for much cheaper.

If you only have one day to see everything in London, this tour is perfect. Time flies, and attractions close early — so you have to move fast!
I saw a few reviews saying it was hard to find the boat, but our guide clearly explained where to go. The tour guide doesn’t go on the boat with you, but gives clear directions beforehand. Some people still seemed confused, but only if you really need someone to walk you there.
Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure we had a great experience. Unfortunately, our driver needed his help a few times, which took a bit of time away from his commentary — but he still did a fantastic job.
Overall, it’s definitely worth it if you want to see multiple major sights in one day and have your entrance tickets and transportation all taken care of.

A very good all-round experience if you only have a short time in London. Was able to see most of the main sights during the driving portion and then had time to tour St. Paul's Cathedral and London Tower. Ended with the Thames River Boat Tour and the London Eye. The only thing to watch for is that the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace does not occur every day, so if that is a must-see for you, take this tour on one of the days that the Changing of the Guard occurs (currently Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday). If possible, getting a tour with Omar as the guide is highly recommended. His knowledge of London history was extremely impressive, and he made the tour fun for all.

Do not add on the River Cruise or London Eye ride options to the all-day tour. Our tour guide took too much time at St. Paul's Cathedral which led to us missing out on the cruise and ride.
Otherwise, our guide - Mariya - was very knowledgeable and delightful. She was eager to answer questions and make sure everyone was comfortable.
At the halfway point the bus stops at the Evan Evans office whereby we have an opportunity to use the restroom. Well, there are two stalls total which meant long lines. Plus, it's pretty tough to find a place in the area to eat in the time given to relieve yourself and eat lunch.

A great overview of the city. Guide was great at getting us a good view of the changing of the guard at Buckingham. An enjoyable interesting tour.

The tour was good but we spent too much viewing buildings and crowed streets from a bus which caused us to get to Buckingham Palace after a massive amount of people had already arrived so we couldn’t see the changing of the guards. Our tour guide suggested for us to watch the parade since there was no space for viewing changing of the guards.

Unfortunately had a bad experience due to public transit strikes and missed the morning portion. I would've liked clearer directions to the meeting place, particularly inside Victoria Coach Station. Alex really helped me out and tried her best to get me back on track. I joined the tour for the afternoon but I was given incorrect advice by the tour guide about the river cruise times. Unfortunately again 2 of the river cruises in the afternoon were cancelled (without explanation), which meant I missed out on the London Eye for that day (it was closed by the time I got there). Luckily I was able to return and visit the London Eye the day after, but it was very inconvenient with my other plans.
Overall, I think the tour company did what they could to make the day go well, however I cannot give this tour a higher rating due to not being able to experience more than half of it due to transport issues.

This was the worst tour I’ve ever experienced. Multiple tours were crammed onto the same bus, tickets were mixed up, and people were literally left behind. Our guide, David, was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.
He rushed ahead constantly, saying, “If I waited for everyone, we’d miss the changing of the guards.” That’s the exact opposite of what a guide should do! There was no organization, no clear meeting points, and no concern for whether guests could keep up.
To make it worse, the tour used public transit stops already overflowing with commuters, making everything chaotic. When I tried to contact the vendor through the Viator app and by email, I received no reply at all.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Save yourself the money, the stress, and the disappointment—public transit will get you to the same places far more easily, and for a fraction of the cost. Do not book this tour. Live and learn.
