This tour was perfect to see all of the main sites in London in a short amount of time. We had just one day in London before going on a cruise and this tour was just right. Our guide was great and the bus was comfortable. Plenty of stops to explore places and get photos. Highly recommend if you’re tight on time.

This tour was amazing. Sheila was a funny and knowledgeable guide. We only had a day before our cruise and this tour covered it all. Super bonus was the Trouping of the Colors, thanks to Sheila we got to experience this. Can’t go wrong on this tour, we ended with the Eye, amazing views.

Begin in Central London as you board your comfortable, air-conditioned coach. Meet your local guide, then sit back and enjoy the sights on a panoramic drive through the heart of this historic city.

See the iconic Big Ben and Houses of Parliament in Parliament Square, and snap pictures of Westminster Abbey, where Prince William and Kate Middleton were married in a grand ceremony in April 2011.

Then, gaze up at Nelson’s Column in buzzing Trafalgar Square and drive to Buckingham Palace.

Walk to the palace gates to watch the Changing of the Guard. Look on in delight as the soldiers of the King's Foot Guard, clothed in red tunics and bearskin hats, exchange duties to the regal music of a military band, and learn about this centuries-old ceremony from your guide.

Next, continue by coach to St. Paul’s Cathedral. Hop out for fast-track entry and a guided tour of the landmark.

Afterward, pay a visit to the Tower of London, the medieval prison-fortress that stands on the north banks of the River Thames. Head inside to explore independently and learn about the tower’s blood-soaked history. Founded by William the Conqueror, this imposing complex has served as a palace, armory, prison, and execution site, and is known for its ravens and colorful Beefeater guides.

Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace takes place on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday (subject to availability).
If there is no Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace we see the Changing of the Guard at Horse Guards Parade instead.
The London Eye ticket is for standard entry around 6:30pm (subject to availability) on the same day. This ticket can only be used for this one visit. Please show the ticket on your phone as the barcode will be scanned. Visit to The London Eye is independent.
Please note: St Paul’s Cathedral is closed to the public on Sundays and for special events or services. On these days we will stop for photographs outside St Paul's Cathedral and spend longer at Tower of London instead.

Disinterested Guide

Tour guide was not as expected. We travel and take a lot of tours. Our expectation is that the guide will provide educational, and interesting information, etc. Our guide didn't tell us anything when we went to the changing of the guards in london, and very little when we went to other sites. Her primary information was about how expensive London was and how much the houses cost. We would have gotten more information just taking the Hop On Hop Off bus. I do not recommend this tour.

Great Overview Tour

If you only have a couple days in London, this all day tour is a perfect way to see all of London at a highlight level with many photo ops. It lives up to its name, "London in a Day". The tour guide, Saundra, shared a running commentary throughout the tour with many historical facts and interesting stories. She spoke in English then repeated in Spanish, very impressed with her knowledge and intellect. Mickey, our driver, was superb maneuvering the big comfortable Mercedes Benz bus through the streets of London.

We were able to view several tourists spots in London. The guide was not personable, although she was bilingual. Everything was described in both English and Spanish. She walked ahead of everyone and was hard to follow. She was upset when we asked questions that she apparently answered prior to certain people.

Saw the King

Great tour, led by a fantastic guide named Norma. I would rate this higher had the ending not been a disaster.. Norma was funny, and guided us on the bus tour with funny banter about the city. Told us all about the sites. After the changing of the guard we happened to be there when the Kings motorcade passed thru! was amazing. Our guide left us before the Tower of London. She gave us directions and times for the River cruise and London Eye. We arrived at the cruise 15 min before departure, after 30 minutes the operators said that our tickets were not good for that cruise and would have to wait. We had to make a decision, stay and miss The Eye, or go. Having a 9 year old that was looking toward the Eye, we decided to leave. Subways were down, so we needed to take a $95 Uber back to the Eye attraction. It was an unacceptable unfortunate end to the trip. I've reached out to both the tour and Viator for some sort of compensation but was told by both that I'm out of luck

The tour of London was good. Traffic was bad but can’t blame the tour operators for that. Omar was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Reason for poor rating is that tour operator refused refund for London Eye option. It was closed when the cruise got us there due to extreme heat. Not tour operator’s fault but they should give us a refund. Due to this I cannot recommend them. I won’t use them again.

A perfect intro to London

This was a perfect introduction to London for our family. Our guide Ursula was amazing - a true British treasure. She knew a ton of history and went out of her way to make sure we had the best time. Schedule was for a full day and we used every bit of it - from the 9 am departure to getting off the London Eye about 645. We were exhausted but it was well worth it. Would highly recommend. Only nitpick is I would have liked to spend time at Big Ben / Westminster Abbey but it’s not hard to go back and do that.

Very Disappointing Tour

The meeting place is inside Victoria Coach Station (ours was Gate one). There is no one waiting on the corner for you. The bus had no leg room or toilet for a nine hour tour. It should be listed as a demanding tour because of all the steps you must descend & climb. The guide left us at the Tower of London…So, don’t expect a “fully guided tour”. Ursula did not finish the tour on the river cruise or London Eye. We were left to fend for ourselves on getting to our hotel. The tour didn’t end at the start point. Another couple got lost because of poor instructions. We have been on other delightful Viator Tours. When we requested a partial refund. The company Evan’s & Evan’s denied the claim and never contacted us for further details. Evan’s & Evan’s does not provide any customer service…So, beware. This was supposed to be a trip of a lifetime & the highlight of our trip. Instead, it was a complete disappointment with no recourse whatsoever.

We saw the King!!

We lucked out that the King was travelling through Buckingham Palace right when we were there. This was certainly better to see than the Changing of the Guard! Our guide, Norma, knew exactly where we should all stand to get the best vantage point. It took a bit of waiting in the rain but was well worth it. Outside of this, was a packed day seeing other iconic sites. We felt we had more than enough time at each spot and there was a good balance of guidance/explanation with free time. Norma did a great job with keeping track of everyone and ensuring any instructions with meeting times, tickets etc. were clear. Prepare to sit in traffic a fair bit, just a reality within London, but my husband and I enjoyed this tour.

Good tour in a Cramped Vehicle

Though the tour, places and guide are good, 8 people + 1 Tour Guide were cramped in a Van. Considering that this tour needed long distance drive, the operator should have considered a bigger vehicle or split the people into two different vehicles.
