Our guide Jose was a...
Our tour guide Jose gave great historical narratives and was very informative of the areas visited. His drive was challenging through heavy rains and detours but the drive was very smooth. He did a great job in adjusting to weather related closures, rain, and fog. He suggested a wonderful restaurant in Nazare that we loved. His insight as a tour guide and great narratives made the tour interesting despite not being able to see the sights as we would have in nicer weather.

HIGHLY Recommend!
We booked a group tour but lucked out and ended up with a private tour with Alex as our guide. He was so incredibly friendly, informative, and made sure we had plenty time to explore our must-do's. Alex was very conversational as well and seemed just as excited to learn about where we live and our ways of life as we were about Portugal! It was the perfect experience for our final day in this beautiful, friendly country!

Great day out. Enjoyed all of the stops we made. Lots of interesting history. Distances were not too long between stops.

I had a great time on my tour with Andreo. He was very accommodating, knowledgeable, fun and professional. Andreo was not only informing us about places we were visiting but also telling a lot of facts about history, economy and life in Portugal and Lisbon particularly. I really enjoyed my tour with this company and booked another one on the second day. Also would like to admit that being a solo travel I felt myself safe.

Lisbon
Praia da Nazaré sandy beach overlooking the Atlantic ocean, Portugal.
  • Nazaré hosts surfing competitions at various points throughout the winter, and the town fills with spectators.

  • There are plenty of places to stay in town, but make sure to book in advance during peak season.

  • Nazaré’s beach is fully accessible, however the cobblestones on the main streets can be difficult to navigate for people in wheelchairs.
