So we built a whole afternoon around that moment. Then we head to the coast for the main moment: sunset at Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe. Away from the crowds at the monument, we walk a few minutes along the cliffs, lay out a blanket and open a top-rated Portuguese wine, red, white, sweet white or rosé, whichever you chose when you booked, served chilled in real glasses with a few local bites.
