We did not get to go on the experience. When we arrived the designated 20 minutes early at the glacier and waited in by the pick up place for our guide he never showed. After waiting for an additional 10 minutes I called the place. They said they moved the trip up due to weather conditions. They said they left us an email at 11:20 and tried to call us. We had already left at 11:00 because it was a 3 hour drive to get to the glacier. The calls they made did not go through because of WiFi connection in the middle of nowhere in Iceland. They offered to maybe give us some money back. It has been over a day and I have heard nothing from the company.

In may it’s pretty warm so don’t over dress and the walk to the glacier is a decent walk but not real difficult

Kamila was an amazing guide, and this was such a great experience. With a small group, Kamila really tailored our glacier experience. Two days before our hike, she had scoped out the glacier to ensure she identified interesting features and the safest routes to those features.
Our only problem was connecting with Kamila. There are so many guide groups at the parking lot, and the "Dave the Guide" van was not easily identifiable.

It was an easy set up, and really good guide, Kamila. There was 11 of us, and some were more apt to climb and move then others, so that did put a little of a damper. But we were able to see a lot and have a great experience.
