A Tour Worth Your Time

This tour was a great way to see the Neuschwanstein Castle. Fast access to the castle plus our very good guide Leon led with precision and humor. We took the shuttle bus up to the castle and Mary's bridge (it was one hell of a climb) and chose to walk down to meet our group at the end of the tour but didn't realize the trip down took 45 minutes. We descended in record time. The views from the castle were spectacular and the history of the castle was intriguing. All in all, this tour was worth the money, and we had a wonderful time.

Lovely Day Trip

I am so glad I made a last-minute booking and joined this trip! Instead of visiting the inside of the castles, I chose to spend my time walking around and exploring the beautiful surroundings at my own pace, which was a fantastic alternative. An absolute must do if you are into history

Our tour guide Alex was phenomenal. He not only had a wealth of knowledge but also welcomed questions and an interactive tour making everyone feel comfortable. There is quite a bit of standing and walking but well worth the experience. Be ready to have a somber, emotional experience and learn about the history of Dachau, its origin and its final collapse at the end of WWII.

Dachau Tour

Sam was our guide for our tour of Dachau, but he was much more than a guide. His knowledge, passion and empathy were obvious throughout the tour. He basically provided a history lesson to 24 strangers, detailing the political environment and denial displayed by citizenry that allowed for Dachau and other concentration camps to exist. His descriptions and accounts were sobering, truthful and thought provoking. His respectful and honest recounting of the atrocities that occurred there and in so many other places were both insightful and cautionary.

Gorgeous!

Fantastic trip, Ursula was an excellent and engaging guide. There was a lot more walking and climbing steps than I had anticipated, but I should have researched this more ahead of time. Bus was well equipped with a full snack table, coffee, and a bathroom, and even a surprise beer at the end! Gorgeous scenery…well worth it!

Amazing Way to Explore Munich!

A Great Day Visiting Both Castles

An excellent way to see Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles! The meeting spot in Munich’s city center was easy to find. Our guide, Jay, was very friendly and informative, sharing the history during the ride out. We started with a 45-minute tour of Hohenschwangau Castle, with beautiful views of the Alpine lake and surrounding area. After lunch at the bistro, we took the bus up toward Neuschwanstein and stopped at the bridge for the famous castle view. We then walked over for an informative tour of the castle before heading down the hill to our bus. A great day and well worth the trip from Munich!

Great Overview with a "Real" Person as a Guide

My wife and I booked this tour a few days into our Berlin stay. A great overview of the City from the River. We ended up wishing we had done this earlier because it really gives you a feel for the City. As a real plus, this tour offers a guide as opposed to an audio recording. He was able to "ad lib" parts of the tour based on what we were actually seeing on the shore. This was a real advantage over most other tours that we saw walking up and down the river. This is a real bargain for the cost - highly recommended.
