Very moving experience. Very informative and friendly guide. One suggestion: have guides make sure everyone has gathered before beginning narration. There were several times when we missed info because we were nearer the back.

This is something everyone should experience. A very sobering look at history. Something that shouldn’t be forgotten, a very dark period of history. The atmosphere here is different. Very still, very heavy. The hair on your neck will stand up.

Interesting express tour with our guide Maria.
I think the only thing missing was having 5 -15 minutes of free time just to sit and reflect. The tour moved at pace which I didn’t mind but would have liked the free time. Maria was a great guide, very knowledgeable and explained everything well to a group of 24.

Seeing a concentration camp in person is a must for everyone at some stage in life. A very eye opening experience in to history that wasn’t actually that long ago. This tour specifically was great, our tour guide Irish Paul was especially amazing! He was very knowledgeable and provided very interesting insight in to this camp. Highly recommended!

Everyone should physically visit a concentration camp in their life. Our visit to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp with our tour guide Emma- was amazing. Heavy, but it has to be so and Emma was incredibly informative, compassionate and educational while making sure the gravity and humanity of the situation was fully expressed. Canadian Chris was amazing! He told us facts and stories that you wouldn't hear on the audio tour or by yourself! Would do another tour of any type with Chris!
Take the bus tour and not the train. The bus is much faster.

Artie was an exceptionally informative guide with an extensive German history background which he brings to the role. The material he presented was perfectly accessible. He was open to questions and provided lots of opportunity for this.. It was especially helpful to learn about the German history that led to the introduction of concentration camps. I have to say it was absolutely worth the cost.
(BTW, I make this recommendation even though two of three of us were history buffs, and that the three of us had spent the previous entire day touring the topography of terror museum, and the Holocaust memorial. It was not redundant to take this tour.

You will not be able to see the camp in its entirety because there is so much to see. However this tour gives a good overview of the history and site. Our tour guide, Hannah, was incredibly knowledgeable and gave a wonderful tour. Highly recommend.

The tour of this concentration camp was fascinating. It was an easy bus ride and took about 55 minutes. The tour guide talks much of the way, so it kind of helps pass the time. The camp itself was rather wide open with just a couple of barracks still remaining. I kind of thought I’d see more of what it was like in the actual stuff from back then. I guess there wasn’t as much as I thought it would be, but it was still an amazing experience. Nikolai was our tour guide and he did a fantastic job.
The actual tour and the concentration camp was two hours and it was walking to the different areas or buildings that were highlighted. Still blows my mind that’s something like this could actually happen. All in all this was definitely a worthwhile tour.

My time at the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp was not only a humbling trip but also an informative one. Our guide Campbell, took the opportunity on the shuttle trip to the camp to bring us up to speed on history of WW I and WW II and the events that preceded the creation of the camps. The entire time we spent at the camp with Campbell was like opening a history book and absorbing the powerful history of the guards, prisoners, and overall motivations for what would eventually become the holocaust. While the tour may be hard for some to do, I’d highly recommend doing this one to get the full experience and the history. I would say this tour was the highlight of my trip.
