Jamie is knowledgable and an excellent guide. we went in with a little knowledge and came out with much. Definately recommend the tour with Jaimie.

It is so important to see and having a very knowledgeable guide like we did makes this tour so much more impactful. I'm not sure I would have gotten as much out of the experience without the guide to lead the way, set the time and educate. Everyone should do this tour.

This extraordinary visit to this evil Dachau Concentration Camp was masterfully guided by Scott.
Very professional and knowledgeable, Scott navigated the factual and emotional visit with skill and respect.
An unforgettable tour of a lifetime.

Informative tour of a historical site that was respectful of the history of the area.
We learned a lot!

We met the guide at the agreed spot. He took over from there. Transportation to and from Dachau was provided and the guide explained everything perfectly.

Jamie was the most amazing guide we could have asked for. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and had an answer for almost every question asked on our tour and was very culturally aware as well. Wonderful guide for this tour.

This was an amazing experience. Our guide Jamie was wonderful. Highly recommend for anyone. Very sobering reminder

Jamie was knowledgeable and helped the group navigate safely and avoid being disrespectful by explaining norms while visiting Dachau. The half day tour was informative and to the point. I did not feel that I personally had enough time to read through all placards like I usually do. If you want to do that, it would probably take a full day or two. Instead I bought the book Jamie suggested to me with all of that information I missed. Much appreciated.

The early start allows for time in Dachau without crowds. The tour guide was excellent and easily held our full attention.

Since this is only a half-day tour, it's necessary for the tour guide to provide background context and help you move through the exhibits in an efficient manner. Our tour guide was very good at this, so we managed to see the entirety of the camp, and then had some free time to explore the camp.
This camp should be a required visit for all citizens of the world to make sure this doesn't happen again.

A extraordinarily powerful experience. Jamie was an excellent tour guide. He was professional, personable, informative, and happy to answer any question. This memorial is a powerful and an emotionally challenging experience. He provided lots of information and insight with incredible grace. I highly recommend doing the tour with Jamie. Well worth going with a guide.

This is an intense experience to see, we have visited another location, but the exhibits in this one have lots of information. Our guide, had very detailed historical details and warned us about the photos in some exhibits as the Nazi propaganda made it look like the people sent there deserved to be imprisoned. Conditions were grave and zero expectation of leaving alive.
Take a tour as there is so much information.

Great experience. We took a 13 and 15 yr old with us and it wasn’t too overwhelming for them. It was incredibly informative and opened up a lot of discussions with our children. Definitely wear comfortable shoes and bring water if the weather/season is warm. Loved the early start!! It is peak tourist season an envy lunchtime it was packed. But we were leaving ;)

Comprehensive and smooth. We had a great guide named, Scott. There was not a question he couldn't answer. Very impressed.

Our guide and the company were fantastic. Prompt, informative and friendly. The travel from the meeting point to the site was easy to navigate even though it involved public busses and trains.
Suzanne_N, Jul 2026
The tour was extremely well organized. Scott shared so much history and presented it with sensitivity but also straightforward. I appreciated his expertise and delivery on a difficult period in history very much. I highly recommend this tour.

What an experience. Our guide Jamie is well aware of the importance of this tour & his work. Jamie has an incredible knowledge of the dark history of this important site. His communication of a difficult & sensitive subject matter was delivered with the deference it deserves. Highly recommended.

We had an informative and educational time visiting Dachau. Our guide Jamie was absolutely excellent -- interesting, friendly, informative, and full of great stories that really helped to understand the larger picture of Dachau and its role in World War II and the Nazi regime. A totally different experience from Auschwitz, one that gives a different and captivating story of the concentration camps. Absolutely worth your time!
Katrina_S, Jul 2026
We really enjoyed having Jamie as our guide for this experience. Everything was well organized and well run. He was very knowledgeable without overwhelming us with information. The tour was a great balance of listening/learning and exploring the site on our own. He also had great recommendations for other things to see/eat/do around the city! Would definitely recommend.
Melissa_P, Jul 2026
This was an interesting, informative tour of Dachau. We learned many details we would not have learned about on our own. Our guide made the transportation by train and bus easy. We had enough time to have lunch and browse the book store too. We are very happy we chose this tour!
Shasta_B, Jul 2026

Our guide through Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site was Jamie from Ireland, and he was seriously the best. We went on one of Germany’s hottest days this summer, and the site is quite large with a lot of outdoor walking not protected by shade. Jamie was constantly very intentional about making sure we had shady spots to stop while he led very knowledgeable and impactful discussions. He was also consistently encouraging our water intake and telling us each place we could acquire some along the way. Jamie was extremely knowledgeable on the subject matter and excitedly welcomed questions of all types- I even bothered him most of the train ride back with more questions when curiosity struck, and you could just tell he was happy to have the discussions- he has had a lot of very interesting lived experience that I recommended picking his brain about. Going somewhere like a concentration camp memorial site (granted this was my first time doing so) had an emotional impact on me, and Jamie was the best catalyst for my time there that I could’ve asked for. He had a very tasteful way of balancing implementing lighthearted commentary with the depth of the tragic subject matter. He was very knowledgeable about fact vs. fiction we may have encountered as well. In conclusion, my time spent at the site was expected to be impactful, but Jamie made it more memorable than I could’ve imagined. I highly recommend going here, and I HIGHLY recommend booking with Jamie!
