We had a SPECTACULAR day! Surreal and iconic scenery, and the most INCREDIBLE guide in the business! That guaranteed a MAGICAL day! Our family of four saw the stunning sites at Lake Moraine, Lake Louise, YOHO Park, the Takakkaw Falls, Natural Bridge, Emerald Lake, etc. Our guide, Micaela, was a ROCK STAR (ask for her for a guaranteed great tour)! She is flexible, knowledgeable, engaging, really fun and a very safe driver. We felt like she was a family member by the time our tour ended. Bravo Micaela! We had an amazing experience on the Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and Banff tour, and it was the perfect way to spend our first day in Banff! Our tour guide, Roger, was fantastic. He shared so much interesting knowledge about the Canadian Rockies and gave us great tips for navigating the crowds and making the most of each stop. Roger also did a wonderful job creating a fun and welcoming group dynamic. He was personable, engaging, and made sure everyone felt included. He even took group photos for us, which was such a nice touch! The stops themselves were absolutely incredible, and the tour gave us a great introduction to the area. It helped us get familiar with Banff and the surrounding sights so we could better plan the rest of our trip. We would highly recommend this tour, especially if it’s your first time visiting Banff!

A Full Day of Sightseeing

Viator is an easy and reliable tour company. This tour we took was very comprehensive and gave us an excellent overview of the Banff area. Our tour guide, Ben, was pleasant and knowledgeable. We would be happy to tour with him again. The only negative to our day was the weather. Clearly not Viator’s fault !

My partner and I booked a trip to the Canadian Rockies very last minute during a very busy time of the year. We were able to book this trip two days before with no issues. It was a great way to see so many things that were must see. Getting to see it all and not worry about parking was great especially seeing how many vehicles were at these places there was no shot we could have done it in our rental. They even picked us up from Calgary and took a day of driving right off our hands. Most of all our tour guide Lisa went above and beyond taking our pictures at multiple stops, cracking funny jokes, explaining some history I would have otherwise never known, and bringing a great energy the entire time.

Great Experience

We had a tour guide named Sammy who was very humorous. On the day, he held a very visible neon green sign with the name of the person who booked the tour (our pickup was Downtown Calgary, if you have different pickups then they will pick you up along the way). I suggest you buy some food you like before going onto the tour, they do have lunch break for us (start time was at 7:30am, lunch break near 11 or 12?) I found myself snacking on stuff I brought before lunch break so I suggest you either eat something beforehand or bring some food. For 2 people, we brought 2 subs and a few cans of soda. At the lunch break area, there is a few stores to buy food at - Look up Trailhead Coffee at Lake Louise Dr, that's where our group had lunch break at. The tour itself was nice, the pros are that you get access to areas that are generally no-car entry allowed, so one of the areas (forgot which one) had an 11km walk or bike only to the lake(?) Cons were, you do things at the tour schedule, so there's that. I wanted to rent a canoe but there wasn't enough time to do so. The tour is nice if you only have like a day off due to work or just checking out a few places while you're in Banff/Calgary. My partner and I liked the tour and felt it was worth the tour fare to see the lakes. As we have seen the lakes already, the next time if we decide to go back will be on our own time, not with a tour as we want the freedom of time to do what we want without being bound to the tour schedule.

Banff Tour

We had such a great time on this Banff tour! They took us to all the major attractions, and it was such a nice and easy way to see so much of Banff in one day. Our driver was amazing very kind, friendly, and helpful throughout the whole trip. And Ahmed, our tour guide, was honestly the best! He was so informative but also really funny and made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. Unfortunately, it was raining during our tour, so the views weren’t as amazing as they could have been. But Ahmed really went out of his way to keep us smiling and make sure we still had a great time. He was so positive, helpful, and patient with us, and we really appreciated everything he did. Ahmed truly made a difference in our experience, and we are very grateful for all his help and kindness. He was wonderful, and we would definitely recommend this tour!

Thank you for the memories!

This is a perfect day tour. Well organized and Brooke is amazing! She shared facts, history and told us all about the area. She even set up coffee for us after the first stop, when it was chilly. Bus is well maintained. We had a break for lunch and to shop downtown before hitting the last 2 stops. Very convenient for families, groups and even if you’re going solo. I will go back!

Great tour!

Garry was a great guide! On time and very knowledgeable about the lakes and sights. Even did more stops due to a mix up with the company and advertising the same trip on get your guide and viator, as some had lake Louise and some didn’t. But not his fault and it was all sorted out. That should be fixed moving forward tho. Recommend for sure!

Great service, would recommend.

The tour bus was great. On time and no problems. The bus played a guided tour while driving which told interesting facts while on the drive. Would definitely recommend if you don't want the wait for the Parks Canada buses. 1 and a half hours at each lake was good too, especially if you want to rent a canoe for an hour.

Highly recommend!

What a great experience, to see so many places in one day and not have to worry about driving or parking. Our guide was very nice and a great driver. We had plenty of time at each spot. Traveled with a 4 year old and he did great! Couple of things to note: get to your pickup spot early especially if you are driving yourself there as parking fills up fast. We did our pick up at Canmore Visitor Center and since there are a lot of tours happening at the same time it’s kind of a cluster with parking and trying to find the right bus. Also the lunch stop is pretty hectic too so if I were to do this again I would pack my own lunch. Overall a great day, we really lucked out as it was the last nice day of our trip due to the wildfire smoke that came through for the rest of it. Highly recommend! Thanks for everything!
