Eduardo was personable and knowledgeable. The route was well-planned and the timing was just right. Even though a few points of interest were closed for the holiday, he kept the tour engaging and enjoyable. He also took excellent photos throughout. Highly recommended for Calgarians, newcomers, and visitors.

Intro to Calgary

Lorna_M, Mar 2026
Great way to get to know downtown Calgary. Our tour guides James and Chad had lots of interesting information. The library was a highlight.

Good walking tour

Justine_L, Jan 2026
Had a great time wandering around downtown Calgary, learning about the city and its history. Worth doing to get your bearings for the city.

Had a great tour in Calgary. I would say the only unfortunate thing was that the +15 skywalk was closed because it was Christmas Day. Really enjoyed the tour because of Joshua. He shared a lot of information about the places we went to. Also since we mostly walked outside, he always tried to look for places we could stop at to warm up (though not a lot due to the holiday). Honestly would go for another tour if he was the guide!

Great city tour

Great tour , a mix of indoor and outdoor walking and lots too see . Easy walking for family with kids

The guide was phenomenal he was very attentive to each guest there were 15 of us and he somehow made time for each person I’m writing 5 months later but it was in June 14th I think 2025. He was a really good person very genuine something you don’t see often. We are black American and he treated everyone the same. I really wish I remembered his name nonetheless when I mention my banff trip he’s always the person I mentioned bc I was so Impressed. I want to say Brandon but I don’t feel like that’s right. Plus I’m bad with names

Great little tour

Tobi_W, Oct 2025
Small but mighty. It is a 3 hour tour but mileage short. Francis is the best guide very thorough and fun to be around

Calgary highlight perfectly done

bennetsanhita, Sep 2025
We had a lovely guide. She knew her history! Very friendly and interactive. We covered a lot of area and saw a good bit of Calgary in the 3 hrs. The library was the highlight according to me. As was +15. There was more walking than I expected but it was paced out enough not to feel exhausted. Good food court at the mall next door to the finish point for a much deserved lunch

Great tour with animated and friendly guide Tristan. Plenty of facts and history on this well paced walk around the City. Good value and very interesting.

Great intro to Calgary

Julie_H, Sep 2025
It’s a great introduction to the sights of Calgary if you want to explore further yourself or just want to spend a few hours exploring Calgary.

Calgary Walking tour

FannetteH, Sep 2025
Tristen, our guide was very knowledgeable with history of the places and friendly /approachable to ask various questions.

Good introduction to downtown Calgary

Paul_E, Sep 2025
Good overview of downtown Calgary. Saw some sights that we probably would have overlooked the library was very beautiful and worth a visit.

Hit or miss

Laura_L, Sep 2025
We recently did a 3-hour walking tour of downtown Calgary. While our guide was very nice and personable, the experience itself fell short. The tour felt unstructured, with no clear flow or storytelling to tie things together. At times it was quite long without any short rest stops, which made it tiring. Unfortunately, we didn’t come away having learned much, as the information shared was quite superficial and didn’t provide much depth or insight into the city. With additional training and more focus on structure and content, this could become a much stronger tour.

A Fabulous Walking Tour

Tristen our tour guide was amazing. Very lnowledeable and entertaining. I highly recommend this tour. It‘s a great way to get to know Calgary‘s downtown core.

Enjoy Calgary

Bill_S, Sep 2025
Our guide, Darrell, led us on a great walk around Calgary's highlights, keeping up an informative running commentary on the history, architecture and public art of the city. The only downside to this tour is its 'gratuities based' nature, so you need to have a hefty tip ready in your pocket at the end.

Response from Host, Sep 2025

Thank you for joining us on the Calgary City Highlights Walking Tour! We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed exploring the history, architecture, and public art of Calgary with Darrell, he’ll be delighted to know his commentary made the walk memorable. We appreciate your feedback about the gratuity based model as well. It helps us keep tours accessible while giving guests the flexibility to tip based on their experience.

Yvette_D, Sep 2025
It covered the highlights at a reasonable pace and gave a good overview of the city. Gave pointers as to what to explore later.

Great city highlights.

A comprehensive, informative tour of Calgary. A history of the city, and tour of buildings of the 1800’s, as well as modern architecture.

tracey_m, Sep 2025
I learned a lot about Calgary’s history, it was very informative. Our guide, Daniel gave us a lot of information and tips on dining. Wish the guy had a microphone though and The emphasis of giving tips and repetitive was a turn off A tour of the Calgary Tower was included in the brochure but never got to it

Interesting tour

Marisela_H, Sep 2025
It was nice, tour guide Daniel was informative, polite. It was interesting tour, nothing extraordinary to see, however the public library was the coolest thing of the whole tour.

Great Calgary Overview

Edward_B, Sep 2025
Be physically able to stand and walk for 3 hours. The tour covered a lot of the City and is really great if you just arrived and want to get the general layout of the City. The history is very interesting as well. Wonderful way to spend some time getting to know Calgary.

Excellent Tour and highly recommend!

Joseph_G, Sep 2025
We just finished our tour with Caitlin. It was a beautiful August day, so that made a walking tour perfect. Caitlin was well spoken, very informative, and a delightful tour guide. We learned so much about the history of Calgary as well as the history of specific buildings, architecture, and public spaces. We would highly recommend this tour to everyone. Thank you Tony tours and Caitlin!

Excellent tour. Kaitlyn was a knowledgeable, warm, and friendly guide. I am so glad that I took this tour. I never would have learned so much about the history of Calgary.

Rebecca_G, Aug 2025
We stayed with tour for only about 30 minutes prior to leaving and doing our own tour using chatGPT. We left the tour due to a large amount of inaccurate information given about the history and buildings viewed. The information also seemed rehearsed and the guide was not very engaging. We have done numerous walking tours when traveling worldwide including other Canadian cities, such as Toronto and Quebec City. We thoroughly enjoy walking tours usually and have never left one prematurely before.
