Viator charged us, then failed to transfer the funds to the tour company so that we paid twice. The tour wasn't the problem at all. It was Viator.

Learned a lot about the city on this rainy but informative tour. Michael I showed our group all of the highlights along with interesting history and stories.

It was a 3 hour tour with quite a number of steps, most had railings to use. There was a 30 minute “rest/washroom” time at the library where there was also a small snack/drink cafe. Our guide was very good but is leaving Calgary next week. However, I’m guessing since the tour is “pay your guide what you choose”, that most of them are pretty good. I do think it would be appropriate if the company gave some guidelines for amounts.
The downtown area is very interesting and the art is impressive. Even though not all the art was exactly my taste, the fact there is so much & it is so diverse is very appealing & interesting. Highly recommend.

There’s a lot of walking and it got warm. Layer and wear comfortable shoes. Stay hydrated.our guide Ross was charming and gave us lots of good information. He kept us moving but was attuned to our needs (short rests and cooler shaded spots. Ross was an excellent guide. The tour was well planned out and well worth doing. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful tour of downtown Calgary. Very interesting city and Katie was a great guide. I would recommend this activity to everyone who visits Calgary so that you get a great sense of the city in only a few hours.

Great walking tour of Calgary for an interesting overview of the city with an amazing and knowledgeable guide — just do it!!!!
Diane_L, Aug 2026
Enjoyed this very interesting tour of Calgary. The first half was the best and it did run a little long. I would cut the last 30 min (located on the eastside), in particular the parking lot experience.
Shrinivasa_U, Aug 2026
The tour did not cover all the listed items in the itinerary (for example we never visited a garden). Couple of interesting places were not even open on this day and the tour guide was not aware of it. However, we did see some interesting things on the tour and heard good historical records.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We do our best to re-route our tours based on location availability/construction/events with minimal impact, but it sounds like we missed that on this tour. We're glad that you enjoyed other parts of the tour- We love Calgary, and we love to show it off!

It’s about three hours of relatively easy walking. Mostly flat on even surfaces. There are some stairs but always with hand rails. Calgary is a beautiful city.
Lorne_B, Aug 2026
We got to see a lot of of the sites around Calgary. Unfortunately, many of the buildings were locked, so it limited some of our ability to see some things.
Catherine_K, Aug 2026
I really enjoyed this and learned a lot. Stacy loves her city and it allowed her to really show it off!

Great experience! Fantastic guide she walks fast so it was a great tour! We saw everything that you want to see in Calgary and got great tips on where to eat etc!
Andy_P, Jul 2026
Very good tour, covers a lot of the city and a good overview. We always do this type of tour and then work out some places to go back and revisit. Gives a good understanding of the history of Calgary and would recommend it.

Knowledgeable tour guide and made the tour a very interesting and informative adventure!
Recommend NTANTA as your guide as he is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the building architecture and city knowledge!
Catalina_B, Jul 2026
Great city and so much to see. We had a great guide who provided good information. The area is stunning, and we really enjoyed the tour. Overall, very happy with the experience. This is a 3-hour walking tour! Be aware that it is only walking for 3 hours. It worked great for us, but if you have issues walking, this is not for you.

Max was a great guide; she was very engaging and hospitable. I enjoyed learning about Calgary's history from her.

We are unable to write our experience on this tour because after 30 minutes walking around the Edison Building, there was no Guide to be found. Yes, it rained all day. However, on the advertisement for this tour it says, “Rain or Shine.” If it was cancelled, then a text to notify us would be nice. If it wasn’t cancelled, then we have no idea where the Guide was located. While searching for Guide we tried twice texting the number to reach Tour Operator without a response.

Morning tour, excellent introduction to downtown Calgary. Our guide was wonderful and so full of information. Lots of walking. Highly recommend!
Marie_N, Jun 2026
Guide knew the history of the city. She was mindful of the needs of the group (ie. mobility). It’s a walking tour so expect to walk a fair distance.
ROBIN_B, Jun 2026
Our guide was very knowledgeable about the city but at times it was a little hard to hear him. But still worth it!
Richard_L, Jun 2026
A good long walk. Mostly outdoor so weather dependent. Lots to see.
Museum was very interesting. Much history.

The Calgary walking tour was excellent! Our guide, Chad, was very knowledgeable and shared so many interesting insights about the city. He also showed us hidden gems in downtown Calgary that we would have easily missed on our own. A fantastic way to explore the city—highly recommended!
DwightPeter_T, Jun 2026
It was a fun day and educational experience. Tina did an amazing job on the tour. Time went by so quickly. Learn a lot about Calgary. Highly recommend . It was a big group. It would be better if they provided headphones since there are times we can’t hear her
