Itinerary
Your morning starts by getting on a temperature-controlled vehicle in the town Banff. Relax as your driver transports you through the Canadian Rockies to your first stop at Moraine Lake. National Park fees, gratuity, and GST are all included in the package, so you won't have to worry.
Take some time to admire the water and wildlife, keeping an eye out for moose, bears, and elk. Then, hop back in your vehicle and ride on, listening to historical tales from your guide along the way. Arrive at Lake Louise to be greeted by the pristine waters named after Princess Louise Caroline Alberta. Embrace the opportunity to capture photographs and explore the scenic trails surrounding the lake.
Then, winter visitors can try out snowshoeing with the assistance of your guide. Experiment with snow-walking on the lake with provided gear.

Not good and not enough time to go shopping and eat. Chinese passengers speaks their own language and talks so loud. No manners of respecting others and doesn’t even say excuse me when in line hitting any of your personal belongings.
Bad customer service. The announcer speaks Chinese only most of the time.

The lakes are undoubtedly beautiful.
The journey started with a trip to the nearest toilets for the Calgary passengers. It would have been better to stop before collecting the Banff passengers?
The journey felt like a taxi more than a tour. Our guide was speaking in both English and Chinese and spent a lot of time explaining the lunch arrangements instead of describing the amazing sites that we were passing.
Perhaps consider more training beforehand as he had low knowledge of the areas being visited.

A fantastic lake journey. Peter was a very friendly and positive tour guide. However his information was somewhat confusing and the poor microphone did not help the situation.
Viatours had not supplied him with the correct paperwork, meaning we had to make a couple of detours to the Lake Louise Park office to rectify the situation and enable us to get to Moraine Lake.
The lakes were gorgeous and it was a good trip overall.
I'd recommend taking your own lunch as time is limited to walk along Lake Louise plus grab lunch from the cafe.

This is a great way to get to see three lakes in one day without having to drive yourself. You do only get one hour at each lake (even though it says 2 at Louise) and only 20 minutes at Lake Emerald. So if you have limited time and need to cram, this is the tour for you. If you have plenty of time, then I don’t recommend it. It’s not really worth it. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and gives a lot of information about Banff, but it would have almost been nicer to ride in peace and quiet and enjoy the scenery. Once you get to the lakes you’re on your own to explore, which is nice.
Unfortunately our tour got off to a bad start with our tour guide yelling at someone on the tour for asking for a seat change to be with her family. He told her if she didn’t like it she could get off. I didn’t think she was being rude by requesting. Viator told her to ask the tour guide when she got there and she was just following instructions. Anyway he made several jokes about it throughout the tour and I thought it was in poor taste. He could have nicely told her he wouldn’t be able to accommodate. Other than that, it was a nice tour. It was a nice way for us to get from Calgary to Banff. The nicest park of the tour is obviously the lakes, which are accessible without the tour. So it’s nature that’s amazing, not the tour itself.

Great tour, guide was knowledgeable of all the attractions we saw. He made sure to show us different areas we could explore at each stop for the best pictures. Great tour for anyone as you can choose how much to walk around. Would definitely recommend so you can see some of the best attractions in the area and can give you idea of where you might want to stay longer, get a hotel to explore more or to stay in a different season. The lakes were still frozen since we went in April but seeing how much is around each lake gives a good idea of how many days we would stay in the summer to be able to explore everything we wanted.

Lake Louise was beautiful upon arrival. Walked across the frozen lake after grabbing a quick bite to eat from their chateau’s grab and go area.
This was a great means to get transport from Calgary and check off some to-do items in the area surrounding Banff.
David was well versed and did a good job of leading our bilingual tour group.

Seeing Lake Louise and the Rockies was an experience I will treasure. The breathtaking scenery coupled with the variations of weather really made me appreciate what Canada has to offer. David our guide was punctual, professional and extremely knowledgeable. His facts and quizzes kept us interested whilst he drove us through extreme weather fronts. Excellent trip. Garbage garbage it suppose to be a small group tour 60 people in a bus with seat numbers assigned already .so you can’t seat by your choice . You travel thousands mile to be in Lake Louise for 2 hours n one hour for lake Moraine. There is shuttle available for both the location I should have used them rather booking this tour .
