We had an amazing time on this tour! Marco was absolutely fantastic! The tour was the best because it took us to all the highlights of Banff National Park and others places as well. We would have been able to see all of the beautiful things that we did. Marco was very kind, helpful, patient and so knowledgeable. We appreciated all his tips and advice of places to see on our vacation. It was the best tour and very family friendly. I give this by highest recommendation!❤️🇨🇦

Because I was travelling alone I had many questions before I booked this tour. I sent an email to get more info and I received a reply right away. After I booked I received a text message from Tito welcoming me and letting me know that I could message him. I did ask him more questions about hotels and pickup locations and each time he gave me answers that helped me finalize many details for my trip. I thanked Tito and I said that I was looking forward to the tour and seeing many amazing things and he replied saying we can’t wait to show you! I’ve never had such prompt personalized service before! The morning of my tour I received a message to let me know that Luis would be my driver and a photo of the vehicle. Luis was an excellent driver and an amazing informative tour guide. All 12 people on the tour were very happy with our trip. Luis stayed with us the entire time. He even walked the trails with us and told us exactly where to stand to get the best photos. He explained what we were seeing and gave historical and cultural information about the area. There were several stops for washroom and snack breaks and Luis suggested where we would find the best places for coffee or ice cream or popcorn. When we stopped for lunch Luis made recommendations and gave us a discount card for specific restaurants. This was definitely the best tour I have ever taken! I learned that Rocky Mountain Trips is actually run by Tito and Luis is his father. I was so proud of the amazing job that this young Canadian man and his family are doing and I am happy to support an independent Canadian company that does such wonderful work. Excellent customer service is hard to find these days but it’s still available at Rocky Mountain Trips.

This tour was a highlight of our trip to Calgary in July 2026! Our tour guide/driver, Luis, was so personable, friendly, and knowledgeable which definitely enhanced the tour. He was able to easily engage the whole group comprised of people from several different countries. I would highly recommend Rocky Mountain trips, a family owned business!

Rocky Mountain Trips was phenomenal! From start to finish. Pick up was easy, our Van was so comfortable and with Ac. Enjoyed the time we were given at each stop, we were never rushed. Luis, our guide was always ready with information and tips. He was very knowledgeable about Banff, surrounding cities and local spots. He kept the group engaged but also gave us time to rest when the drive was a bit long. He was an amazing guide. We wouldn’t have enjoyed our trip if we’d done it on our own. The itinerary offered was so well curated, I had done my research and found that RMT was one of the only tours that offered a two hour window in Banff Avenue, which when you’re ready to eat and shop, matters. I highly suggest book with them, I know I will do so time and time again.

We built it so guests actually have time to enjoy them. That extra time in Banff, the comfortable ride between destinations, and a guide who knows when to share stories and when to let everyone soak in the scenery are all choices we made on purpose. We were delighted with our choice for a tour in Banff. While there are many to choose from, this one did not disappoint. A small family owned business really knows how to take care of their guests. The small group was obviously the better choice when you see people getting on massive tour busses and that loading/unloading cutting into their time. Luis was our tour guide and was super knowledgeable of the history of the area and was a fantastic photographer. He made the trip easy and enjoyable. We could not recommend this tour any higher!

We intentionally keep our groups small because we believe your time should be spent enjoying the Rockies, not waiting for a bus full of people to load and unload at every stop. It creates a more relaxed day, gives our guides more time with each guest, and makes the whole experience feel much more personal. Great experience with Mario. My friend and I did do the hike at Lake Loraine and it was challenging but worth it. Mario was professional, knowledgeable and a great driver. Would 💯 recommend.

Great trip. Our guide Teddy was awesome. It was a very stress free way to see the highlights of Banff. We took our tour early in our trip so we could decide what we want to go back and do again. Teddy gave us a lot of ideas for our return visits. Food recommendations were great too. Fun to use a small family run business. Highly recommend.

Angel was our tour guide and he was absolutely fantastic and attentive from start to finish. Our tour group was small (11 total), which made it easier to keep people organized and get everything done on time. The tour is the perfect mix of relaxed, scenic, informative, and active. Family owned company! Angel was an amazing guide, super friendly and he made sure everything ran smoothly for us. He laid out time frames clearly and his playlist was 🔥. Lakes and locations we visited were beautiful! Wish we had more time at Lake Louise to hike around the area, but it was enough time to take pictures and take in the views.
