Not Worth The Price

This trip was longer than what the description had mentioned, especially if you’re leaving from Calgary. Our pick up time was 7:15am, we left a little earlier than that and arrived back after 9pm. We went to Bow Lake first and spent abt half an hour. We then went to a gas station at Lake Louise Village for our “lunch” stop as there wasn’t time for a proper stop. We got to the Icefield little late. Our admission ticket was for 12:15 but we got to the entrance at abt 12:25. Our tour guide had to go get our tickets adjusted and we were given a new time of 1:45. Some of the other people on our tour were given tickets for 12:30. I’m not sure why everyone didn’t get the same ticket time. I also don’t know why a later time wasn’t chosen for the group to give the bus enough time to arrive to its destination. After all of that waiting, we got on to the glacier and spent abt 20 minutes in a small area. For the price of this tour, I don’t think it was well organized nor worth the high price.

We are able to walk in Tabasco glacier with a short tour by giant Ice explorer. This tour includes, bow lake,peyto lake, Columbia ice fields ( glacier and glass bridge), Crofoot glacier.The tour guide Sam was very helpful and kind. He coordinated to our glacier trip and picked us back
