Great - Canadian Rockies are beautiful. You get to see quite a lot in a few days. Tour guides are very knowledgeable and the accommodations are comfortable.

I booked this activity via Viator and unfortunately days before we were to travel I had to be rushed to the hospital where I spent days in ICU and could not travel. When inquiring about a refund, Chris from the travel operator Westar said she would try based on my circumstances even though the trip was shown as non cancel able . In the end Wesstar offered me 50%!
Credit towards a future trip but Chris said this is the best they could do as I booked via Viator which now seems to have been a big mistake. Now I am out over 2000 CDN which as a Senior citizen is a considerable amount of money and my doctor has forbidden me to travel overseas to use my credit . I have all the medical proof needed to validate my illness . Is there nothing Viator can do for me ? Surely there musr be exceptions.
