This tour was a wonderful experience, a thoroughly amazing way to see the major sights of Budapest. Our tour guide was Paul, and he did a great job of weaving the historical story of Budapest to the geography, important buildings and monuments. If you are only able to visit Budapest for a couple of days, We would highly recommend starting your visit with this Tuk Tuk tour as it will provide you with an impressive overview of the city. We explored the heights of Buda (wonderful views) and the flatter more commercial Pest. Thank you Paul for a 10/10 experience.

Monica was an amazing tour guide! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made our Budapest walking tour so enjoyable. Even though it was raining, we still had a wonderful time! As a solo traveler, I really appreciated that Monica kindly offered to take pictures of me along the way, which made the experience even more special. The strudel stop was a lovely bonus too! A fun way to cover several cool areas of Budapest. We stayed on the Buda side but you can tailor the tour to what you would like to see. The right amount of history plus beautiful areas. We had time to walk around and get better views and take pictures. Robert, Gabriella and Norbert were great driver/guides for our group of 5 adults.

Great experience! We were delighted to learn that we were the only 2 in the group so Vivian gave us a private tasting. She is extremely knowledgeable about Hungarian wine and also informative about the region’s wine. She is friendly and gave us great recommendations for other tourist sites and restaurants. We had a tipsy time! Highly recommend!

We had such a great time on this boat cruise. Given a glass of prosecco upon boarding was a plus. We saw all the amazing sights on the bank of the Danube from the river itself - it was so peaceful, and the gorgeous lit up buildings like the Parliament and Buda Castle were highlights. Once we saw those main highlights we went inside the historic seeming ship to get some wine, and while we sat down we were serenaded by string musicians. Then a pair dressed in classic Hungarian garb danced for everyone. It was so lively, and everyone was having a great time, and it definitely made our first night in the city special.

Lovely day spent tasting Hungarian wines! All of the wines we tasted were white varieties, which was perfect for me, but definitely something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a mix of reds and whites. The wines were all delicious, the homemade lunch was fantastic, and the views were absolutely spectacular. Susan was so kind and knowledgeable, and she gave us a great overview of the sights along the drive as well as some history and insight into Hungary. Such a wonderful experience and definitely something I would recommend!

We absolutely loved this tour, and our guide, Zoltan! Zoltan's inside knowledge and local perspective ensured we experienced Budapest's food scene as locals. We tried dishes we would have been reluctant to try on our own, and visited some off-the-beaten path places that we would have never found on our own. We highly recommend this tour, and Zoltan, to other visitors to Budapest!

This tour might seem expensive but it is worth every penny. We were met in our hotel reception by our driver/guide Arkos who was extremely friendly and guided us to our beautiful BMW 7 Series vehicle with complimentary water which was very welcome. Absolutely luxurious vehicle and very clean and comfortable. We advised that on previous days we had already been to a number of places listed on the itinerary and he explained that as this was a private tour we could decide where we wanted to go. We wanted to spend the most time on Buda side as we love history. Fortunately Arkos has a degree in history and his knowledge and enthusiasm in sharing this knowledge was outstanding and made the tour so much more interesting. He was genuinely happy to be showing us around and he so loved his job. An absolute gentleman and scholar. He took us to places that you would never find on your own. A reflection of his local knowledge having been born and bred in Budapest. We ended our tour on the Pest side of the city which gave us ideas as to where to visit the next day. The four hour duration went very quickly and we wished that we had booked for longer. Great that we could pick our own itinerary and how much time we spent in each location. Thoroughly recommend this company and especially Arkos as your guide / driver.
