Bianka was the perfect guide to help us get Hungarian staples like Langos, sausage, strudel, chimney cake and Hungarian beer! Exactly the experience I was looking for. And Bianka being a native Hungarian could answer our every curiosity about local culture. She was an absolute joy to be around. A highlight of our trip to Budapest!

This is a fantastic private food tour. Bianka was friendly and personable. As we started our walking tour Bianka gave us some history of places we would pass along the way. We stopped for a Langos first with a local beer. Bianka shared the history of this food and how it’s evolved to restaurants. We stopped for Hungarian red sausage which was much better than the German sausage (in my opinion). The restaurant was more local than touristy which was what we were looking for. As we continued, more history of the city and on to The Strudel House. We were there to watch the pastry chef make a batch of strudels. These were the best we had while in Budapest, fresh apple, apricot, along with others fruits. There was another stop and by this time we were full !! As we said goodbye to Bianka, she was very helpful to give us suggestions on sites to visit while in Budapest.

Our guide was great. Very informative and educational in the history of Hungary and various other topics. The food sampled was delicious, especially the strudels. Overall a very enjoyable experience, thoroughly recommend.

So fun! Despite the rain, we had a great time with Bianka exploring the local food favorites of the great city of Budapest. Authentic signature cuisine and we enjoyed speaking with her about stories about this very interesting country.

Fanni was our guide. We were lucky to just have our family of four on the tour. She had planned a wonderful walk through areas we might have never seen or known about. She was so informed of the history and local events. Great sense of humor as well. Food and drink were wonderful!

My mother and I had an amazing time on this walking food tour. The portions are huge! Definitely don't eat beforehand. The walk is very nice, not too long. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had interesting culture and facts to share. I'd highly recommend!

What a great tour. I did this tour while on crutches and the pace was great. We tried incredible food that we hadn't considered trying while in Budapest. Bianka was friendly and knowledgeable. She talked about more than just the food but the whole city. The experience was made even better with the fact we had a really wonderful group. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay chatting to them longer.

We were very happy with this tour! Our guide Ferenc was incredably friendly and knowledgeable. Food was amazing and portions were more than expected. We learned not just about hungarian food, but also about history and live today. Guide was very attentive and gave advice on where to visit for more interesting places of food and drinks.

Emace was a wonderful host offering so much history and interesting facts about Budapest, the culture, the people and the food! She pointed out so many beautiful buildings and additional sites to see. Most of all she shared the delicious foods of Hungary with us! Everything was delicious and plentiful! The small group experience was exceptional and we highly recommend this tour!

Loved this tour! Easy to meet up with Bianka in front of the opera house. She showed me a lot of key sights in Pest and took me to 4 local favorites for street food. Had langos, paprika sausage, chimney cake (fresh from the oven), and strudel. All so good. I left stuffed.

We loved the Lángos so much that we went back the following night! Ferenc took us to authentic Hungarian street food and sweets. The strudel was excellent too! He’s very knowledgeable about the local history as well.
