Great Tour, Even Better Guide!
Great evening tour! It was a small group of seven (two couples and three solo travelers), which made the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. The tour was informative, well-paced, and a great way to explore Budapest without feeling rushed.
Eszti was a wonderful host - friendly, quick-witted, intelligent, and with a great sense of humor. She made everyone feel welcome and kept the evening engaging from start to finish.
P.S. Don't forget to ask Eszti about her mom's "special lángos"! 😉

Great food , great host
George was a wonderful host and gave us plenty of history about the city as well as inviting us to eat some great local foods.
I always sign up to this type of your as I would never consider trying half the foods you get to sample on these tours. I had to pace myself not eating too much too early into the tour.
Also great as a solo traveller to meet other people and hang out with a great group of people for a few hours

Chillin’ with Csenge!
We had a fantastic time with Csenge - it was very private, as there were only the three of us. We learned a lot about the history of the area and the Hungarian people as well. She made the tour so fun and was really able to identify what we were interested in quickly!
We have taken a lot of tours and she is a stand out !!!! Thank you!

Wonderful tour!!!
We had a great time on this tour. Ester was a terrific guide - very knowledgeable and personable. We toured the market, tried a few items, had a bit of time to shop if desired, and heard about the history. The street tour was wonderful. The pace was leisurely- only about 5 minutes between stops - so it is suitable for most people. Some of our favorite foods were the chimney cakes, sausages, Langos, salamis, goulash, and crepes. Great variety of foods and left feeling full and happy. We highly recommend this tour!

Don’t hesitate- TukTuk tour of Budapest is fabulous
Our TukTuk tour with driver/guide David was the highlight of our time in Budapest! He asked what we were interested in seeing and designed the tour around that. His English was very good and he was very knowledgeable and entertaining. It was our first TukTuk tour and now we are converts and will do them whenever we can in our travels. We booked thru Viator and we were in Budapest on a Viking River Cruise. David picked us up and dropped us off at our dock!

I can highly recommend the wine tour and dinner.
I am sharing from my my travelling letter: “ Sixteen Wines and Four Americans
One of the highlights of our trip was the wine tour into the countryside.
We were picked up by Susan, who served as both driver and guide. At the next stop, the remaining participants joined us: four Americans. They were perfectly pleasant company and, at the same time, lived up to every stereotype we had, with enthusiastic exclamations of “Wow!” and “Fantastic!” whenever Susan talked about the wines, the landscape, or Hungarian history.
We visited three different wineries and sampled a total of sixteen wines from small local producers.
That may sound a bit excessive, but fortunately the glasses were not very large. Even so, it was easy to notice that the mood in the group rose in step with the number of tastings.
At the final winery, we were served a hearty venison stew with Hungarian pasta. That was probably a wise decision on the part of the tour operator.
And not least, City & Wine Tours drove us all the way back to our hotel afterwards. We appreciated that very much. 🍷😊

Tuk Tuk fun in Budapest!!
It was a marvelous tour, customized to our interests! We were able to go to places that larger vehicles could not access and covered an expansive area in our ride. We could not have seen as much with a large group.
The guides were knowledgeable and provided interesting details of the areas we visited. This is a must-do excursion!

Our tour guide Monika was...
Our tour guide Monika was so friendly and insightful. My Grandson and I ended up being the only ones on the tour. We learned so much and now we have ideas to see some of the places we visited. The strudel stop was very delicious and it gave us the energy to explore the Buda side. If you have the chance to take this tour, definitely do it!

Don’t miss this experience!
Great way to experience Hungarian culture through their food culture.
We tasted some typical Hungarian food and drank beer and wine that you would find in a typical Hungarian home,
Each dish and each beverage served came with a background story of how it was made and the traditions behind it !
Very interesting and informative tour ….not to be missed!!!

Fantastic experience
The Budapest Centre Food Tour was a fantastic experience and a great way to discover both Hungarian cuisine and the city's history. Our guide Zoltan was incredibly engaging, mixing fascinating historical insights with humorous stories and local knowledge that kept the tour entertaining from start to finish. We enjoyed a wonderful variety of food and drinks, from traditional Hungarian classics to local specialities, with generous portions and excellent quality throughout. The tour felt very well organised and offered the perfect combination of culture, sightseeing, and delicious food.

Amazing private luxurious tour. Worth every forint.
This tour might seem expensive but it is worth every penny. We were met in our hotel reception by our driver/guide Arkos who was extremely friendly and guided us to our beautiful BMW 7 Series vehicle with complimentary water which was very welcome. Absolutely luxurious vehicle and very clean and comfortable. We advised that on previous days we had already been to a number of places listed on the itinerary and he explained that as this was a private tour we could decide where we wanted to go. We wanted to spend the most time on Buda side as we love history. Fortunately Arkos has a degree in history and his knowledge and enthusiasm in sharing this knowledge was outstanding and made the tour so much more interesting. He was genuinely happy to be showing us around and he so loved his job. An absolute gentleman and scholar. He took us to places that you would never find on your own. A reflection of his local knowledge having been born and bred in Budapest. We ended our tour on the Pest side of the city which gave us ideas as to where to visit the next day. The four hour duration went very quickly and we wished that we had booked for longer. Great that we could pick our own itinerary and how much time we spent in each location. Thoroughly recommend this company and especially Arkos as your guide / driver.

Great little river cruise
Went on this last night. Had a brilliant time. We only did the drinks package so sat outside for most of it but when we came in the entertainment sang happy birthday and gave me cake.
I was worried it would be hard to find but if you put the exact address in it will get you there and it stated dock 2 on booking so was easy. I would say get there early as the good seats outside soon filled up and inside not all are window seats. We met some lovely people on board which also helped the experience. Some looked bored ??
Only 1 negative is before we set off another boat unloaded right beside us. It was letting off smoke right in our faces - but yucky so took it in turns to go inside and wait for it to leave
