What are people saying about Berlin

I visited on July 16....
I visited on July 16. Roshana was an excellent guide and a clear expert on this topic. The Sachsenhausen museum focuses almost exclusively on the experiences of jewish people. Roshana provided additional information on other groups affected by the holocaust - e.g., roma people and homosexuals. This is a great addition to anyone looking to learn more about LGBTQ history!
Roshana also took care of us following the tour and advised on how to navigate transit to where we wanted to go next, gave restaurant recommendations, and recommendations for a great lake to cool off in.

This is the second time...
This is the second time I've done this tour. The second tour was absolutely incredible, Hannah did a wonderful job explaining the history throughout the session. I left with more information, some that was not covered in the first tour, and it was overall well paced. While there will never be enough time to fully explore Sachsenhausen, I still felt that I left this experience far more educated.

Very interesting tour with great info.
This was a great insight into history of Berlin. There were some great stories told by Emma, who was extremely enthusiastic about her role as guide.
There were lots of interesting facts about what went on during the Cold War. Even though I had a lot of knowledge about Berlin, the tour provided more information.
I now have places I want to go back to, to revisit. Those places you wouldn’t know about. The walking was ok, with going onto the S-bahn and tram, so you need a A/B zone day transport ticket.

Incredibly knowledgeable...
Incredibly knowledgeable and passionate tour guide, his enthusiasm and personal interest shows through and makes the tour a delight.
I learnt so much and I'm inspired to watch some movies set around that time in Berlin! Thank you Ciaran!
Do not miss this one if you're visiting Berlin.

What a great 3 hours...
What a great 3 hours exploring the graffiti and street art culture of Berlin. The guide was fantastic. Informative, knowledgeable and adaptable to his audience and conditions. It was a scorcher of a day, but he made sure we were in the shade as much as possible, had water and stops to cool down. Thanks so much for a great tour!

Our tour guide Nick did an awesome job! Very worthwhile!
Our tour guide Nick did an awesome job. We asked him to try to focus on and show us places that would NOT be on a tour we would take the next day about the 3rd Reich. He really lived up to the request and we saw many cool things and learned so much from him. Definitely a 5 out 5 stars!

Awesome bike tour- Maggi rocks!!
This is a great bike tour!! Maggi, our guide, did an amazing job making it fun, informative, and well-paced. At every landmark he clearly explained its significance, related an evocative story about it, and gave us a chance to ask questions. I sometimes have trouble hearing tour guides, but Maggi always spoke quite clearly. There’s a 15 minute bathroom break approximately halfway through. There were absolutely no hills on the entire route, so you can confidently pick the regular (non-ebike) option. There are frequent stops, and they’re all fairly close together, so this is not a strenuous ride.

Great trip
I had thought of making my own way to Sanssouci but decided to take this trip as everything was organised for a visitor. It was long enough to get a sense of the opulence of Frederick’s summer retreat. Yasmin was a helpful and knowledge guide giving us lots of information about Berlin’s history as we made our way to and back from the palace. We also stopped at the Bridge of Spies on the way.
We had audio guides for the palace then got an overview of the gardens and vineyards with Yasmin. I thought it was long enough to see everything and good value and would defiantly recommend it.

Berlin shaped by music, art and activism
Great tour that blended Berlin art, music, history and contemporary politics. Our guide Rys was excellent. A true renaissance man Rys is a rock and jazz musician, a DJ, and a tour guide. He brought a great sense of humor and a unique perspective to our group. He also gave some awesome recommendations for local clubs, bars and music venues. I strongly recommend this tour.
What a like most is you get a good breakdown of some of the city's more eclectic neighborhoods.
You will also learn about the various contributions of Berlin’s artists musicians and ethnic groups that contribute to the city's vibrant culture.

Amazing service and tour by Leo!
Leo and his colleague provided us with a wonderful experience.
The ride was so ideal, comfortable and cozy with the blanket provided to us.
We were asked what our interest were at the start of our tour and Leo came up with a very interesting and educational tour.
Leo and his colleague were easy going, very knowledgeable and super accommodating.
Thanks so much for an amazing time and fun filled tour.

Superb!
This trip is well organized and nicely structured to give Berlin visitors a chance to see and learn about Nazi atrocities without committing an entire day and night. I’ve never finished a tour with as heavy a heart and mind but I would take the tour again…..
Our tour guide Natalie was absolutely superb!!! Deeply knowledgeable, thoughtful about the subject, friendly and helpful to all us non-Berliners with suggestions and logistics.

Highly recommend
We had an incredible private tour of East and West Berlin, and I can’t recommend it enough! Our guide, Tankred, was absolutely fantastic—so knowledgeable about Berlin’s complex history and full of interesting fun facts that really brought the city to life. We learned so much in just 6 hours, and the pace was perfect.
Our driver was also excellent—professional, helpful, and made getting around the city smooth and stress-free. One of the highlights was stopping for some local Currywurst, which added a fun and tasty touch to the day.
If you want to see a lot of Berlin in a short time, with insightful commentary and great company, this private tour is the way to go!
