Too complicated

I downloaded the app and accessed my ticket with the code and thought I was ready to activate the tour when I reached the site. But no! I open the app, ready for my walking tour, and find it wants me to set up an account, download something additional (when I’m on site with no WiFi)… a whole list of actions I’m supposed to take. Forget it!

Hi there, When you booked through Viator, we sent you instructions via email and SMS with five simple steps to redeem and start your tour. In these instructions, we recommend that you download the tour before you set off for the starting point. VoiceMap tours work offline, but it's best if you download your tour using a strong WiFi connection. Then, when you're en route, you can take the tour 100% offline.
