Begin this 3- or 4-hour walking tour with a central-Berlin hotel lobby meet-and-greet with the guide. Choose between several departure times. Then decide upon the 3-hour tour, which provides a solid overview of the city’s main sites, or the 4-hour tour, which offers a more in-depth journey.
Walk through the city with a local guide, who will provide a detailed account of Berlin’s fascinating and often troubled history. Learn about Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party, and what life was like during the Third Reich. See where Hitler’s bunker was located and visit the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. Also, find out how Germany was divided while walking through Checkpoint Charlie, the best-known crossing point between East and West Berlin during the Cold War. Then walk alongside the remains of the Berlin Wall at the Berlin Wall Memorial and East Side Gallery.
Walk under the famous Brandenburg Gate, one of Berlin’s most important monuments. A symbol of division between Berlin and Germany during the Cold War, it's now a national symbol of peace and unity. Also, see the Reichstag Building, the meeting place of the German Parliament.
Other sites on the tour could include the Protestant Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, the East German Government Quarter, and Unter den Linden, a boulevard in the Mitte district of Berlin.

Had an amazing day with my family and close
Family friends. Hannah led the tour and she was AMAZING. Hannah met us at our hotel which was conveniently located by the east side gallery. From there we explored Berlin and Hannah's historical knowledge is great. She is friendly personable and easy to relate to. Overall an A++ tour. Highly recommended. We did this tour on our first day in Berlin, and what a great way to start in this beautiful city. The private tour was great as we could move at our pace and gear it towards what we wanted to see. Berlin’s historic attractions are spread out through the city so this is a great introduction to all the main spots. Tina was a fantastic tour guide! Her knowledge and passion for the city of Berlin was evident! She shared with us so much information that was so well presented. Will, was very knowledgeable of the area and the history of Berlin. Yes, you can walk it by yourself but not knowing what happened is just like taking pictures. Specially in a place where you don't know the language.

Artie was an outstanding and exceptionally knowledgeable guide. He met us at our hotel on time and filled the 3 hour tour easily. He was very personable and attentive to our comfort and our ability to understand the historical context he provided. Terrible experience on the tour… I paid $385 and it was absolutely not worth it. I honestly felt like I was scammed with the whole experience….

Dear Minor,
UNBELIEVABLE!
This is what happens when you do your job properly for people who request urgent tours with only hours’ notice.
You requested an urgent private tour for the very next morning, and we rushed to arrange everything for you – finding and confirming a guide at short notice, just as you asked. We did our job perfectly.
Then your flight was cancelled just hours before the tour. Instead of taking this up with the airline (the party actually responsible), you demanded to move the tour to another date. This meant we had to pay the original guide in full and somehow find another guide for you on a different day, during peak season – an impossible task. Yet your frustration ends up directed at us.
If I was responsible for your flight cancellation because I carried snakes on the plane, I would take full responsibility. But I’m Irish, and Saint Patrick drove them all out of Ireland many years ago. By the way, he did not drive them out on your plane – so no, we cannot take responsibility for this.
We’re a small company working incredibly hard to give people the best possible experiences in Berlin. To call our service a scam is not only insulting but completely unfair. We did everything you asked, bent over backwards to help, and still you leave a damaging review because of a flight cancellation entirely out of our control.
We’d love for you to take down this review, but we know you won’t. Some people just need to blame someone.
