Sachsenhausen Tour
Hannah was our guide through insider tours and was fab! Very empathetic, extremely knowledgeable and just was the most fantastic guide for what was a tough tour.
Would recommend this tour but ask for Hannah if you get a choice. Would recommend. For anyone who questions taking children. We took our 12 year old son who asked lots of questions, was sensitive to where and how he asked questions and is still talking about the tour.

Amazing tour
What a fantastic experience. To have a tour guide, Aurel, with family history of own grand parents defecting from the east to the west via underground tunnel.
Aurel had informative and captivating stories, first class tour that we would recommend to all

Enjoyable, informative and relaxing tour
Yasmine our guide made this tour very enjoyable. She is very knowledgeable and talked enthusiastically about a multitude of things including the buildings, history and the landscape of the areas as we travelled to Potsdam around Potsdam and back to Berlin. En route we stopped briefly at the infamous Glenicker bridge between East and West and then the impressive Neues palace where the young Princess Victoria spent time. The inside of Sansoussi palace is definitely worth seeing it's so beautiful. It wasn't the best time of year to visit the outside as it was snowing a little but one could imagine the beauty of it in spring and summer. Thanks to Yasmine and her careful driver.

Great tour - I’m terrible at titles.
Loved this tour. Rob our guide was fantastic! He really knew what he was talking about and his passion for the topic was engaging and infectious - it really makes a difference having a guide who is genuinely enthusiastic about what they are sharing. Won’t deny being able to share some cultural references as an Australian solo traveller was nice. I appreciated the chance to grab a hot choc and a snack midway through! Thoroughly recommend this tour.

Great alternative tour of Berlin
Rhys is a fantastic guide. He was perceptive and informative- exactly what you want in a guide. He put everyone at ease. We learned and laughed a lot. I felt I could ask him any question about the city and would get a thoughtful response. Highly recommend!

Tina was exceptional!
We did this tour on our first day in Berlin, and what a great way to start in this beautiful city. The private tour was great as we could move at our pace and gear it towards what we wanted to see. Berlin’s historic attractions are spread out through the city so this is a great introduction to all the main spots. Tina was a fantastic tour guide! Her knowledge and passion for the city of Berlin was evident! She shared with us so much information that was so well presented. She was also very friendly and animated which made this tour so much fun! She also offered us tips on what to see more of and recommendations for local spots. We highly recommend this tour of Berlin! Must do!

Great experience
Anastasia was a great tour guide, gave precise explanations, kept us on schedule, planned well for the breaks, avoiding rain, and catching a bus. She was great at finding alternative travel routes when our train stopped on the way back. Her explanations were just right length and with right number of details, not too much and not too little. Highly recommended her.

Exceptional tour and tour guide!
We wanted an in-depth tour and historical recap of the events in Berlin and Germany, leading to the fall of the Berlin Wall. Hannah provided an outstanding experience as she was extremely knowledgeable and obviously a history buff, well spoken and enthusiastic, and took us to the top sites in Berlin. Her photos were interesting and complemented her commentary. We also enjoyed the fact that we share the same hometown of Los Angeles. It was an expensive private tour for just the two of us but we felt it was well worth it! Highly recommend Hannah and this tour.

Highly recommend
We had an incredible private tour of East and West Berlin, and I can’t recommend it enough! Our guide, Tankred, was absolutely fantastic—so knowledgeable about Berlin’s complex history and full of interesting fun facts that really brought the city to life. We learned so much in just 6 hours, and the pace was perfect.
Our driver was also excellent—professional, helpful, and made getting around the city smooth and stress-free. One of the highlights was stopping for some local Currywurst, which added a fun and tasty touch to the day.
If you want to see a lot of Berlin in a short time, with insightful commentary and great company, this private tour is the way to go!

Potsdam Comes Alive with Reuben’s Stories
We had a fantastic walking tour of Potsdam with Reuben! The experience was both very entertaining and highly informative. Reuben brought the city’s rich history to life with his engaging storytelling and deep knowledge of the area.
Potsdam itself is absolutely beautiful—full of stunning architecture, charming streets, and fascinating landmarks. The combination of great company, a passionate guide, and such a picturesque setting made for a truly memorable experience.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Berlin area—this tour is a perfect way to discover the beauty and history of Potsdam!

Lovely way to see Berlin
We had seen Berlin from the land on a bus and we had seen it from the air at the top of the TV Tower, so what better way to finish our 4-day trip than by seeing Berlin go by from a river boat on a beautiful, sunny Sunday evening. Our boat floated serenely up the river towards the centre of Berlin while our glasses were kept full and a delicious 4-course meal was served. We started with bruschetta, followed by a delicious yogurt, cucumber and dill refresher before the main course of beef cooked in beer with potatoes and vegetables. The whole meal was rounded off with a coffee parfait. All the time we were eating there was a bilingual German/English commentary to accompany the trip but, unfortunately, it tended to be drowned out by a boisterous group of a dozen Australians at the front of the cabin. They did quieten down when asked but the noise level soon ratcheted up again and I gave up listening, which was a shame. However, this did not detract from a lovely experience which I can thoroughly recommend. The icing on the cake: I had forgotten my backpack on the boat, but the lovely lady who had been serving the food and drink (I’m sorry I did not catch her name) came to look for me on the bank where we were waiting for our taxi. Fantastic service all round!
