This is was an excellent tour. The guide Raffaello was outstanding. He really personalised the tour and has a passion for Berlin and its history. It is well worth undertaking a tour of this nature and if possible asking for Raf. We did this as a team corporate event but this would suite any age or any group. Thanks Raf you were a champ.

We wanted an in-depth tour and historical recap of the events in Berlin and Germany, leading to the fall of the Berlin Wall. Hannah provided an outstanding experience as she was extremely knowledgeable and obviously a history buff, well spoken and enthusiastic, and took us to the top sites in Berlin. Her photos were interesting and complemented her commentary. We also enjoyed the fact that we share the same hometown of Los Angeles. It was an expensive private tour for just the two of us but we felt it was well worth it! Highly recommend Hannah and this tour.

Excellent exploration of Berlin's recent history (with a bit of pre-WW2 history thrown in). Most cities we visit we explore on our own, however, given Berlin's size and the number of sites, we decided to go with a private tour, and this proved to be an excellent choice. We saw things that we almost certainly would have missed by ourselves, but more importantly, the extra colour, insight and knowledge provided by our guide, Jamie G, made the whole experience come alive. Jamie is easy-going, very personable, and was extremely patient and detailed in answering the numerous questions that both my wife and I launched at him. All in all, a great way to quickly get to know Berlin and to gain an understanding of the WW2/Cold War era. Highly recommended and many thanks to Jamie G for an excellent tour.

Awesome tour! We learned so much on this tour. We actually walked much of the tour route on the day before but we did not really know what we were looking at. Our guide Ariel filled in all the holes and did a wonderful job giving us the history and very cool insights into all of the places we were seeing that we would have never known had we not had a guide. Well worth the money! We covered both WW2 and the Cold War topics.

This is a tour I have been interested in seeing after watching documentaries and movies about the Berlin Wall. I wanted to dig deep into its history because the outrage and passion seemed to produce music at that time, that I later discovered. It affected my whole life regarding many decisions I’ve made. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and my favorite part is the picture book he brought book, in which helped me easily understand more than before. Also, learning about World War 2 is an extremely important learning experience in order for people to understand how the most unbelievable situation could possibly occur. I lived some or most of my life in a sheltered community so I am extremely thirsty for more knowledge. I recommend Joerg to be your tour guide.

We went into this 4 hour walking tour excited to see the sites of world war 2 and Cold War. I was particularly interested in this tour because it said they can pick us up/drop us at hotel. It also said we would see the east Berlin Wall gallery and Berlin Wall museum. None of these things happened despite walking 4 hours straight without rest or drink break. Our guide was also not terribly knowledgeable about history either. He could not explain to my daughter the difference between fascism and communism. I had hoped for more given the price we paid and time invested.

At no point was the East Side Gallery or the Berlin Wall Museum mentioned in our communication, nor did you express any desire to include those locations. Had I known they were important to you, I absolutely would have worked them into the itinerary — that’s something we’re more than happy to do when we’re informed in advance.
It’s disappointing to hear that this wasn’t what you were hoping for, especially since a tailored tour is always possible when we understand the interests and needs of our guests ahead of time. I’m also sorry if the guide didn’t meet your expectations in terms of historical depth — we take your comments seriously and will look into it further.
Please accept my apologies again that your experience didn’t reflect the standards we aim for.

This company was great to work with! We ran into some airport issues that almost made us a little late but they were flexible and had quick communication.
We had Klaus for our tour guide and he was amazing!! We pretty much hopped off the airplane and went on this tour so we were slightly sleep deprived and jet lagged and Klaus was very informative and accommodating. He gave a great recommendation for dinner!!
Not his fault but there were a few things we couldn’t see close up because Berlin was already setting up for their major annual marathon race the following weekend so recommend when planning your trip to look into what might also be going on or coming up.

Our guide was a delightful, interesting, and knowledgeable person. He adjusted to accommodate our "older person" pace. We saw and heard about the things we were interested in. Our guide, Peter, also helped us find the boat dock for our next excursion. The four hours flew by.
