Meet your guide at Hackescher Markt S-Bahn station and begin with an introduction to Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party, setting the context for the period of dictatorship and violence that shaped Germany between 1933 and 1945.
Continue to the ruins of Anhalter Bahnhof, where many of Berlin’s Jewish residents were deported to concentration camps, before walking to the former SS and Gestapo headquarters on what was once Prinz-Albrecht-Strasse, now the site of the Topography of Terror museum. Here, your guide explains how the regime operated and the role these institutions played.
From there, visit the former Ministry of Aviation as your guide discusses the consequences of Nazi rule for Jewish people and for Sinti and Roma communities.
The tour concludes outside the Reichstag, Germany’s parliament building, where the Nazis came to power in 1933 and where the final days of World War II unfolded in 1945.

Great way to learn about the 3rd Reich in Berlin.
Guide Glen was simply superb - hugely knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
Highly recommend this tour.

Excellent information about Nazi sites and related history. Would have like to be told about some non-Nazi things we passed, but that's not what the tour is for, I guess. Steve was easy to hear and easy-going.

Well worth it!

This was an outstanding tour- one of the best I’ve been on. It combined a thorough history of Berlin, the Berlin Jewish Community, the background of WWII and the tragic history of persecution of the Jewish people. There were visits to memorials including Jewish, Roma, LGBT , Soviet, and the Topography of Terror/Berlin Wall. Tom our guide was superb- great teacher/masters degree from university. Highly recommend.

Giles was a fabulous guide! He was patient and lead us through the chilling history of Berlin. While folks may be able to find some sites on their own, Giles made the city come alive, using historical pictures and reference points. He was very thoughtful about the group, and made sure to provide time to explore specific areas. The tour also included important aspects of Jewish history in Berlin, and in combination with the Third Reich sites, provided a rich experience.

The intricate web of history, Old Europe politics and of course religion’s part to the story. The complexity of Berlin’s history, particularly the 20th century.

Dear Ruben,
Thanks for taking the time to review our tour, however, I am afraid you are mixing us up. We do not offer tours in Dubai at all. Also, we are not sure what the problem was with the tour? We are always available even on weekends and holidays via our emergency mobile phone number which is displayed on your ticket. May we invite you to contact us privately so we can take a closer look into your booking and sort things out?
Best wishes,
Caroline from Original Berlin Walks

Our guide, Gregor, did an outstanding job explaining various Third Reich events and how they affected the population during that period. He helped everyone to think about how the people got drawn into the Nazi Party schemes and how they reacted after the war was decided. He also helped us to understand how the war continues to affect Germany today. Gregor was very easy to be with and we highly recommend this tour.

Wow, where do I start. This tour is amazing. Scott brings World War 2 history to life. He gives you the back ground on how Hitler and the Third Reich came to power then we travel in time to the demise of Hitler and the Third Reich. I traveled all the way from Australia to see this history I learnt in school and Scott made it come to life. Thank you Scott. I highly recommend this tour and Scott as your guide.

Informative knowledge guide Rebecca did a wonderful job of highlighting the details and events while keeping the group engaged and moving through the historical events- her skill and friendly nature make her an excellent guide- bravo!

James was an excellent guide and extremely knowledgeable. The tour addressed the dark past of Germany but James presented the history in an approachable manner. We saw and learned about several lesser known yet historically significant sites. I’d highly recommend the tour and James as your guide
CARLEEN_W, Jul 2023
We had a great experience with James as our guide. Very knowledgeable historian and kept the entire tour interesting, even for our two teenagers. We went to all the high points and got a great overview of German history leading up to and including WWII.

This isn’t in an easy tough, very heavy but so interesting, our guide, Jono N combined the feeling and emotion with well timed humor, really made the tour, be prepared to walk a lot but the time flies, a must go to tour! No issues with Logistics, small group helped as well. Strongly recommend and excellent value for money
SANDIE_K, Jan 2023
This was an amazing tour. Tom, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and demonstrated a love for History. Tom was able to answer questions from two different generations and related to both. The walking tour was very doable. My daughter is recovering from leg surgery and I have trouble with my feet. We both had no trouble doing the walk. Very important tour for all generations and nationalities to embark upon. Thank you Tom!
Hannah_R, Dec 2022
