Fantastic tour - exceptional in every
Fantastic tour - exceptional in every way! Our small group tour guide, Sharon, actually lives in the restored village of Zaanse Schans. Sharon provided not only interesting history, but colorful and entertaining commentary on life in Holland and in particular Zaanse Schans. Best tour ever in our many years of travel!

Great day with Ibrahim
Lovely day! Ibrahim was our guide and he was excellent. Had a little stop at an apple orchard and sampled some fresh fruit. Plenty of free time in Giethoorn to eat lunch and walk around. We also had a little stop at a tulip field! Got back to the city at 7pm.

Excellent trip.
It's a great experience. We got the whole essence of the Netherlands with that trip. Our guide Jay was very knowledgeable and funny. His english is very good and clear. We stopped on the way back to see a tulip farm and did some fruit shopping in an organic farm shop which were bonus for us. Both Zaanse Schans and Geithoorn are two unique places and we are fortunate to visit both on our trip to Amsterdam. I highly recommend anyone visiting Amsterdam to take this day trip.

A Wonderful day out
Absolutely fabulous gardens. If you love flowers this is the place for you. I stayed 5 hours and saw everything. Plenty of places to eat & drink or have a rest if needed. There is a fair bit of walking involved. If you wish to take the Whisperboat - a 45 minute boat trip through the flowering bulb fields surrounding Keukenhof, it's best to reserve online in advance, choosing your time as extremely busy & insufficient departures!

Amsterdam is a fantastic base for exploring not only the Netherlands but also neighboring Belgium, as both UNESCO World Heritage-listed Bruges and the capital, Brussels, are easy Amsterdam day trips. Other great day trip options highlight Dutch country classics, from Keukenhof tulips to Zaanse Schans windmills via dams, dykes, cheesemakers, and clog factories. Try porcelain-making Delft, cosmopolitan The Hague, or Rotterdam, the Netherlands’ second city for a more urban day out. Whether your tastes run to food or culture, nature or history, there’s an Amsterdam day trip with your name on it.
