This was truly a small group setting. The small group consisted of us and another couple from Romania.. Cherie our tour guide and our van driver met our expectations. They conveniently provided pick-up/drop-off at our hotel on time. Cherie gave an informative commentary throughout our tour of Keukenhof, Hidden windmills and Delft. Times at each location were appropriate and provided adequate time for pictures, exploring and souvenir shopping. The hidden windmills were a special treat, sitting in a quiet location close to town. The tour of Delft included visiting one of the privately owned and run potteries. We met both the potter and artist who produced the Delft ware we purchased.
We would highly recommend Cherie for her thoughtful, informative and accomodating tour.

This was a full but totally lovely day. The pace was perfect. Although we were at the gardens at the very end of the season, it was still beautiful. Delft was charming. Loved seeing the windmills up close….the lady who lives in one of the windmills actually invited us into her home and then showed us the working parts of the mill.

We were promised to be picked from our hotel. The tour operator called and said that was not possible and Viator has mis sold. So we had to take a taxi to Amsterdam central and wait for the driver
Then we were 8 in a small van. It was so suffocating in the back seat but there was no alternative

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you were not happy, but the comments are not about how our guide was running the tour. The vehicle Mercedes Vito is a new luxury standard vehicle used for small-group tours in Europe and seating is arranged based on booking order. Any preference should ideally be communicated during the tour so we can try to assist. For example change seating.
Pickup instructions are clearly stated in the tour description: guests must arrange it in advance and you contacted us quite late and we couldn't arrange in time, otherwise the standard meeting point applies.
As a courtesy, the guide offered a drop-off on the return, which is not included in the tour. We did try to offer what we could only if you could communicate earlier.
We are a small, passionate company and always aim to provide a quality experience. We hope you may reconsider your rating. Next time we suggest you to join a private tour with plenty of room for your only. We will offer you a special offer, pls contact us in the future!
The tour takes longer than is advertised, but that is ok. If you have dinner reservations you should plan on 7:30 pm at the earliest.
We loved our tour as we covered much more than we thought we would. The Keukenhof Gardens were awesome, as they always are. This was our fourth visit. We left the guide early at Keukenhof because we knew our way around and our group was like herding cats. My wife has the need for a wheelchair which actually allowed us to stroll through the gardens quicker. The trip to Delft covered much more than we thought it would as there is much more to see in Delft than pottery, which truly is some of the best in the world. Because the day lasted longer than anticipated we would have missed our dinner reservation. Our guide contacted the restaurant to be sure we could arrive late, then he was so kind to drop us off at the restaurant.
The only shortcoming in the day was the guide’s diction could be improved as all three in our party found it very difficult at times to understand what the guide was saying as he drove the van.

Multi was extremely knowledgeable and took us to all the historic sites in Delft and shared his expertise in the gardens of Keukenhof. His knowledge of Dutch history is amazing. Van was excellent and he used a microphone so everyone could hear his descriptions as he drove. Definitely recommend.

The flower garden and the town were absolutely worth visiting, but I would be cautious about calling this a guided excursion.
Our guide was very nice, but he did not seem prepared to actually guide the group. It felt more like transportation than a guided tour. When another guest asked if he would be guiding us, he did offer, but he did not seem very experienced in that role. Honestly, you do not need a guided experience at either stop, and we were fine exploring on our own.
The tour took place the day before a national holiday, which caused traffic issues. Unfortunately, the guide and tour operator did not seem prepared for that. He was about an hour late picking us up.
The biggest concern was the vehicle. It had a check engine light and several other warning lights on. At times, it would not start, and it felt like it could break down at any moment. It did not feel like a safe or reliable vehicle for transporting seven guests.
Overall, I am glad we went because the destination was beautiful and the town was very charming. However, I would recommend looking into tour operators with better transportation and a more organized guiding experience.

Our tour is designed as a mix of guided travel and free time, allowing flexibility at each stop. Your driver-guide is a full-time team member who provides support and information throughout the journey; while guiding styles may vary, the service remains in line with the tour description.
Regarding the delay, traffic—especially around King’s Day and ongoing roadworks—can be unpredictable despite careful planning.
We also take your comments about the vehicle seriously. The van is a 2018 model, regularly serviced in line with strict EU regulations. We’ve had no prior concerns, but we will conduct an additional inspection to ensure everything meets our standards. Safety is always our top priority.

We had an amazing day. Our guide, Bilal, was friendly, informative, and kept good track of all of us.
The Keukenoff Gardens were amazing. There are 8,000 varieties and I’m pretty sure I have pictures of all of them.
Delft was interesting. We enjoyed learning how they make the ceramics.
On our way home we stopped by 3 hidden windmills with sheep and lambs lying in the sun.

Interesting to have a combination of Keukenhof Garden and Delft. For those who don't want to spend a whole day at the Garden, Delft offers something different, yet very Dutch.
An awesome trip, would recomend to anyone that happens to to have the chance to go to Amsterdam in the spring

The garden was beautiful and the stop at delft was very pleasant. However, we had difficulty in understanding the guide as his English proficiency was not great. Despite only 8 of us in the tour, he lost us in delft and we had to navigate our way to him .

The guide who runs the tour is a very knowledgeable guide in English, Portuguese and Spanish. He is a passionate guide who wants to offer you a great time. If only you could communicate with him directly that day, instead of writing afterwards. Your experience would have been much more memorable.
The miscommunication with meeting up time and place, was due to marathon that day in Delft. He told you to wait at the place which is not a usual place for meeting up, the rest of the group was there, except your group. He was patiently making it the smoothest for getting your group back to the minivan.
His English proficiency is up to standard for European standard. We do not hear any complaint about his English, the first time, he said he will improve to perfection.
The more we travel, the more we learn, we hope that you will have more memorable travels in the years to come!

We were a small party of 3 which left more time to explore the gardens and Delft. While the tulip fields had primarily completed their season the gardens contained numerous tulips as well as other flowers- absolutely gorgeous! The driver was pleasant and helpful. The pottery stop in Delft was educational and fun.

Keukenhof absolutely worth it even at the very end of the tulip season. Very happy to have visited and Delft is charming. Our guide was very nice and very knowledgeable but hard for Americans to understand due to a strong accent.
Instead of the large vehicle we expected we were constrained to a mini-van as only five had signed up. One person was sick and coughed and sneezed on everyone the entire trip, which made for a stressful experience. I’m not a big fan of masks but it would have been great if the driver had had some on hand given the tight quarters and clearly ill client.
Prolonging the trip with a drive through The Hague didn’t seem like a great idea time wise. Very expensive for the experience and if I had it to do over I would choose an option where the vehicle would have been more spacious and the time frame a bit shorter.

We offered the tour for four of you in a private Mercedes 9-seater minivan, this type of vehicle is considered to be a comfortable and high standard for tours in Europe.
We are sorry to hear that someone in the minivan was coughing, you could have raised the issue and ask them to put on masks, this is something our of our control.
The guide is knowledgeable and experienced, he did not drive through The Hague, he was passing by The Hague which is the way to Delft. The tour is a standard 8-9 hours tour, if you wish to have a different time frame, we suggest you to take a private tour next time.

Tour guide was kind & tried, but left much to be desired. He was constantly commenting on how “tulips were better last week” which just felt frustrating. Tulip fields are beautiful and natural, affected by the weather. This year the weather had been challenging for tulips. The tour was on the first week of May, which is the end of the season. Tulips are fragile and treasurable, that is why we all love tulips!

The Keukenhof Gardens was exceptional. We had more than enough time to wander and take in the stunning flowers. Delft was ok, but did not feel that added much to the day. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. This is a must if you are in Amsterdam in the spring.

The gardens themselves were beautiful even though peak tulip season had passed. Really enjoyed the town of Delft and learning how Delft items were made. It would have been nice to know beforehand that there would be a visit to a cheese shop in Delft.
Our driver did not speak a lot of English and sitting in the very back of the minivan, we couldn’t always hear him. He didn’t give a whole lot of information about anything. He was though very clear about where and when we were to meet up with him.
We booked through Viator and didn’t know the tour company or our driver’s name beforehand. Others we talked to while waiting for the tour to begin, knew these things.

The places we visited were lovely, we really did enjoy the Keukenhof gardens and Delft.
However the minivan buses (which seat 8) were very small and did not have enough leg room, I am an average sized person. Our driver did not speak good english - he was Spanish and only come over to drive for the tulip season - so he was not a guide. He didnt really know anything about the area.
He also managed to drive over a very large traffic cone which then got stuck under the van. He had no idea where the jack was to lift up the car. Originally he was actually trying to drive with it stuck under there, and we were saying, no - stop the van, we have to get off! If it hadnt been for the very practical intervention of a fellow traveller - who knows how long it would have taken to sort the problem out. As it was it took around 30 - 40 minutes, which meant we missed out on visiting the cheese room in Delft. The lady in charge was with the other mini van, and after a cursory attempt to help then just drove off and left us. I appreciate the other group wanted to stay on time, but there was not a single word of apology from her or even an attempt to talk to us about what might happen next. She also did not attempt to follow up later in the day, or talk to us at the end of the tour. It was all very disappointing. I know things can happen, but they didnt handle it well at all. Thank goodness it wasnt something more serious. I dont think I can recommend Cherry Travel Tours to other travellers.

After spoken to the guide, he felt that some people on the tour giving him hard time picking on his English accent. He has feelings too. Because of all these uneasy feelings, he was not performing his best that day and caused the incident. We are very sorry to hear all this. Veronica is a great guide. Very informative and handled our group well. The gardens are amazing. We also stopped for pictures in tulip fields. The trip to Delft is worth while to see a smaller city away from Amsterdam. Also visited a pottery shop where the owner gave us an overview of the process of making pottery.
This was our first day in Amsterdam. This trip was amazing! Guide was informative, kind, and the size of group was perfect! Loved going to small shops, made purchases at each stop. Great start to our holiday.

The sights can be amazing and they were for us on April 26, 2024. The guide was good during the ride and added a commentary during most of the hour trip. While at the gardens, the guide held a flag for us to follow her. It was difficult to hear everything being discussed in our group of 15. We followed for the 1st hour and then split off and did our own thing in the gardens. I'd recommend that you head off on your own as soon as you get into the gardens. Following that, a quick stop at a tulip field with some remaining tulips and then on to Delft. We had a informational tour/visit of De Candelaer (Delft). A quick stop at a cheese shop (free samples but not sure why we went) and then approx. 45 minutes to wander. Check out the "new" church if it's open.
