Our tour guide Alexander was very knowledgeable about all things Amsterdam and was conscientious to keep the group together and make sure everybody was engaged. This tour did not cover the touristy highlights of Amsterdam, but rather history in lesser crowded areas. We did not go by the royal Palace for example but rather talked about what more common people experienced in hidden enclaves near the city center. The last 10 minutes of the tour, it poured down rain, but Alexander was undeterred and did a good job continuing the tour. Although it wasn’t what we expected, we thoroughly enjoyed this stroll around town and we learned new things!

Great experience - it was super hot in Amsterdam, but Sebastian was really good about keeping us in the shade and checking everyone was OK. Knowledgeable and lovely guide - would totally recommend if you have older children (mine are teens and they enjoyed it). A great way to get a sense of the Amsterdam geography and history.

Our tour with Sergio was thoroughly enjoyable, entertaining and informative. Absoluitely felt like we got the Amsterdam experience to then go explore some more. Got some great historical tidbits that you would never get walking the city on your own. It's a tip based tour, hence the low cost, but you'll have no issue wanting to pay for this quality experience.

We appreciated the lack of a didactic approach (not heavy on dates and names) and the deeper dive into the societal and cultural aspects of the number of different sights. Annalise was charming, informative and engaging. We covered more than we thought possible in the time given.

Very knowledgeable guide. He was very thorough. For us, we wish the tour moved move quickly. The weather turned bad and we were getting wet and cold. I think he could have stated facts and moved along more quickly. Overall it was a nice intro to Amsterdam.

Samuel was an excellent guide for our walking tour. The tour was informative, engaging, and very easy to follow along with, even while moving through busy areas. He did a great job balancing history, local culture, and fun facts without ever making it feel overwhelming.
One of the nicest touches was that he brought local snacks for the group to try, including Tony’s Chocolonely chocolate and stroopwafels, which made the experience feel even more personal and welcoming. You can tell he genuinely enjoys sharing Amsterdam with visitors. Highly recommend this tour if you want a fun, relaxed, and informative introduction to the city.

Excellent walk around town with Alexander. Very knowledgeable guide. He didn't rush the group and always allowed time for questions. As a bonus, he gave us a very helpful guide to his favorite restaurants outside of the tourist areas as well as an outstanding lunch recommendation about a 15 minute walk from the end of the tour, Cafe de Jaren.

Really cool tour with Sergio today. His energy and passion made the tour a lot of fun. Amsterdam doesn't have a lot of monuments so this was a little different than what you would normally get on a city tour. Sergio did a great job leaning into that and really did a great job explaining how the city came to be what it is today. We would definitely recommend the tour and Sergio to anyone looking for a great tour of Amsterdam.

This was an enjoyable walking tour around the older parts of Amsterdam. Sebastian, our guide, was very personable and easy to understand. He told us he grew up and lives in Amsterdam and it showed in his enthusiasm for and love of the city he calls home. He was very knowledgeable of its history, its various communities, and was able to answer questions that we asked. We saw a variety of significant buildings, learn about why the canals existed, Amsterdam's historical contributions to economic growth in the region and many other things that are unique to the city and the Netherlands.
