Very informative! Cool things to see that you won't see anywhere else! Elizabeth knows so many amazing historical facts and her crush on Patrick Henry is so sweet! You'll walk and stand a lot but there are moments for sitting and ability to buy cold drinks along the way (or bring your own). Worth noting because it was quite warm the day we went. Colonial Williamsburg and the founding of our nation are so worthwhile and this is a great way to learn and a good deal for the cost. Have fun!

Elizabeth is a fantastic guide. She doesnt just give a bunch of facts, shes a master story teller! Ive been to colonial Williamsburg 4 or 5 times, she made this time the absolute best time. We really did learn a lot. If she was a teacher, kids would love History.

This was a wonderful tour! We were late because we went to the wrong place! They were very concerned and both the guide and company called to make sure we were okay!
Tom, our guide, was great and very knowledgeable about his history! He was very humorous and fun to be with!

This tour is great for those who don’t necessarily want to go inside buildings but just general knowledge of the history. Elizabeth was our guide. There are no words to describe her friendliness and knowledge. She went above expectations during our tour with plenty of stops to rest. She was funny and I learned a lot!! She is excellent!! “Go sip” was my favorite!! Highly recommend!

It was a small group just five in total. Felt very personal. Elizabeth was knowledgeable and very personable. The only thing we missed was not being able to go into the buildings. You need to buy a ticket to visit the buildings separately. Our tour started at 2:00 p.m. and the village closes the buildings around 5:00 so we were not able to see them on this visit. Just a note to buy a ticket and take the tour early to go back through the buildings. Enjoy!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Our tour guide, Elizabeth, made it fun, informative, and engaging. The content she shared about the history of Williamsburg was so interesting and intriguing, and at times, we could actually imagine life in Williamsburg during Colonial times based on the stories she told. This is a great two-hour walking tour of Williamsburg historical area. We decided to do this as a way to see the area without spending a full day. Elizabeth, our guide, told us many great stories!

It was fine but not what I was expecting. I don’t feel like I learned much about the history of Williamsburg AT ALL - it was more of “colonial idioms of today and the funny (debatably true) stories they come from.”
Lots of reeling off random names and how many kids they had vs survived. I would not take this tour again or recommend it to a friend.

As you can see we are a 5 star tour and we Always have Great Reviews and our Guests comment on how much they learn and how much information we tell them and Love the many of phases we use today and where they originate from . . Every story that was told is factual from Colonial Williamsburg itself and when you look up William Byrd the third he was a gambler and his family had to sell his plantation Westover .and took his own life on Jan 1 or 2 1799 I know that was one of the questions you ask.
