We meet at the Capitol Building on East Duke of Gloucester Street. Your guide will be in a Pirate’s Costume. We Do Not Meet At Visitor Center ! You can park at 460 East Francis Street . Walk across Francis Street onto Blair Street and you will see your guide up ahead in front of Capitol.

This tour was nothing about Williamsburg. A total waist of time and money . If you want a tour about the purest and the Caribbean. It my be for you but their is nothing about American colonialisms.

Sorry I do not see your name on any bookings on Collins tour I went through all of August and there’s nothing with your name on the booking ,but as you can see by Collin‘s many other five star reviews that’s all he ever gets. He has never gotten a one star review people thoroughly enjoy his piracy and his knowledge and history of pirates and he tells a lot about Williamsburg and about William and Mary And our structure of money because of the pirates and he talks about Blackbeard in his crew because Blackbeard’s crew was brought here and hon. From the moment we set out, our guide – dressed in authentic pirate attire – captivated us with tales of daring buccaneers, colonial intrigue, and the real-life pirates who roamed Virginia’s waters.
The tour is well-paced, blending pirate legends with historical context, so you feel like you’re stepping back in time. Along the way, we learned about the brutal realities of piracy, and even picked up some “pirate lingo.”
Highlights included hearing about Blackbeard’s dramatic capture and the significant role of piracy in colonial economics and politics.

I wasn’t exactly sure what this tour would cove and was pleasantly surprised! I’ve been to Williamsburg many times and this was very unique. Colin was a wealth of knowledge on the history of pirates and privateering. He wove Virginia’s history and impact on pirates throughout the storytelling.

Colin is very knowledgeable about pirating and gave us new insights into history. I never realized what a significant impact pirates had on colonial economies. Something that is not taught in mainstream history.

Funny and informative, Colin is obviously passionate about his subject. We never realized the significance of privateers in the history of Virginia. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in the adventures of the original notorious pirates.
