This tour is operated for both Japanese and foreign customers. An English-speaking tour conductor will accompany the tour. Please note that they are not tour guides and are not required to provide detailed sightseeing information.
For Regular Boat option: You will board a 3-level cruise ship exclusively reserved for tour participants, accommodating up to approximately 135 guests. On the first floor, table and chair seating is available, and you can enjoy your boxed bento dinner from Jiraiya—known for its tempura rice ball specialties—during the cruise. The second floor offers seated viewing without tables, allowing you to relax while enjoying the scenery. The rooftop deck is an open-air standing viewing area. Guests are free to move between decks during the cruise. Please note that viewing spaces, especially on the upper deck, are shared, and guests are asked to be considerate of others. Bringing additional food and drinks is permitted, and beverages, including alcohol, are available for purchase onboard.
For Yakatabune option: seating will be provided in a traditional Japanese style, with low tables and recessed floor seating on the first floor of the boat, and meals will be served there.
Seating arrangements are determined by the tour operator, and seat selection is not available. You may be seated with guests from other groups.
The Sumida River Fireworks Festival features 2 launch areas. Yakatabune option is scheduled to view the display from the Second Launch Area starting at 7:30 PM, observed from the cruise. For Regular Boat option, the vessel will position itself in a special area near Azumabashi, allowing views of both the first and second fireworks venues.
This tour begins with on-site meeting, so participants are responsible for arriving at the meeting location on their own. Transportation costs to and from the meeting and dismissal points are not included and must be covered individually.
Please note that there are no restrooms at the meeting location. Be sure to use facilities before arriving.
As heavy crowds are expected, we kindly ask participants to arrive early. If attending with companions, please meet in advance and arrive together. Boats will return in sequence between approximately 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM, so the exact dismissal time cannot be guaranteed.
Cruise operations may be canceled due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will either arrange an alternative sightseeing option or issue a refund for the affected portion of the tour.
The fireworks event may be canceled in the event of severe weather. The fireworks festival will proceed in light rain, but may be canceled or postponed due to severe weather or organizer decisions. Even if a backup date is announced, tours will not be offered on the reserve date.
Due to navigation restrictions on the Sumida River, the cruise will depart earlier than usual (around 3:00 PM for Yakatabune option and around 4-4:30 PM for Regular boat option). This results in a waiting period of approximately 3–4 hours before the fireworks begin. During this time, guests may relax onboard and enjoy dinner. After the fireworks conclude, river congestion may cause the return to the pier to take an additional 1–2 hours.
Depending on surrounding buildings and conditions, some fireworks may be partially obstructed.
The planning for this tour is based on information as of April 1, 2026. Due to requests from national or local governments, festivals may be canceled, or changes may occur to the event content
If the fireworks are canceled before departure due to bad weather and cruising conditions allow, the tour will operate on an alternative route and a full refund of the difference will be issued. If the event is canceled after fireworks have begun, even if only one firework is launched, no refunds will be provided.
Delays due to transportation issues or non-participation will be subject to cancellation fees. The tour will depart at the time indicated
Please note that the tour will not be confirmed as "operational" until the organizer's official announcement, even if the minimum number of participants has been reached
Please note that we are unable to accommodate special dietary requests, including food allergies. If you have specific dietary needs, we recommend making your own meal arrangements. No refunds will be provided for meals.
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 30 travelers
