Mani was very punctual, responsive and accommodating. He made great suggestions and guided us through the whole day. We were fortunate to be able to see Mt. Fuji thanks to Mani's suggestion of getting an early 6 am start. By early afternoon when we were heading back to Tokyo, Mt. Fuji was fully hidden in the clouds. The trip was a huge success thanks to Mani!

Our driver Ryu was very knowledgeable and considerate of our time. He explained each site we visited in detail and answered all our questions. We went over our allocated time on several occasions but we never felt rushed Mount Fuji was not fully visible when we visited. Its peak was cloud covered. Hopefully we will get luckier next time.
Overall we enjoyed the day and would recommend the tour.

Ryu suggested we meet at 7 instead of 8 to beat traffic and that was a very good idea. Tour was very enjoyable despite the weather Mt Fuji didn’t show

I was traveling with my kids and elderly mom who had trouble walking. Prem, our driver was very attentive and took care of her comfort. The sightseeing was also not rushed and customised as per our group and weather. Overall we had a great time with him!

Ryu picked us up promptly at our hotel, and we were immediately impressed with his English-speaking skills. He was personable and knowledgeable right from the start. We loved the background he gave us on Tokyo and Mount Fuji, being a retired police officer. He allowed us to customize the entire day, guided by his valuable input. He also provided us the philosophy on the Japanese religions and culture. This helped us to understand the Japanese people when he explained their traditions, idioms, and general outlook of their worldview. He knew where to take us for the best photo shots, because of the beautiful sites on this tour. (He knows how to take great photos!). He had no problem scheduling upon our request a boat ride on one of the five lakes surrounding Mount Fuji. He is a first-rate gentleman, courteous and respectful to his clients.

We had a great time on this Mt Fuji tour. Our guide, Ryu, was very nice and gave us a lot of information about Mt Fuji and its history. He took us to a lot of places that allowed us to see Mt Fuji in all its glory and it was so beautiful and majestic. He took a lot of nice pics for us too. I definitely recommend this tour. The only con was near the end it did feel a little rushed and we weren’t able to go the the 5th station even though I really wanted to because we had to leave to beat the traffic back. But then we arrived back in 9 hours while the tour was allowed to go up to 10 hours so I felt a little sad that we didn’t make the 5th station stop.

We understand the disappointment about not reaching the 5th Station. Because the mountain is quite a distance from the other sites, our guides offer a choice midday to either pivot to the 5th Station or continue with the scenic lakeside views.
Since the group opted to keep the original plan, adding the mountain climb at the end would have unfortunately pushed the tour far past the safe 10-hour limit due to return traffic. We’re so happy you got to see the best of the Fuji area, and we appreciate your recommendation.

Definitely one of the best tours I have been on. I travel with my spouse and 2 children (5 and 2 years old). When booking, the company was very responsive with my queries in regards to my chosen/ideal iternary. Additional costs were discussed up front if needed. Offered to pick us up from our hotel which was in Tokyo Bay (paid extra to the driver for this as it was out of area). Driver was fantastic. Knowledgable and very talkative and friendly which was great for us. Also excellent with children. Car was in excellent condition with car seat for my 2 year old. I had an itenary planned but was adjusted as we went due to my family needs. The driver was very adaptable and even offered advice on locations to eat and things to see and do. I would definately use this organisation again! Thank you so much.

We really enjoyed this trip, the guide Ryu contacted us before the trip and we were able to explain where we wanted to go taking on board his suggestions. He picked us up from our hotel on time. At each step he gave us really useful information, guided us around and then let us continue exploring by ourselves. He gave us good recommendations for what to see, what was available to eat. Eating in Japan did prove a little tricky as it could be hard to find things to fit our dietary requirements but Ryu made this easier. We went to the pagoda, the pools, Lake Kawaguchi (two stops here), including the gardens, a temple in the forest and lake Saiko. As there were 5 of us it was worth the cost compared to paying for a larger excursion. We visited in July and there was no snowcap on the mount Fuji. Next time we hope to go to the fifth station as we could not do there by car in the climbing season.

Ryu was a great guide. While the weather wasn't cooperative for us to see Mt Fuji clearly, we still thoroughly enjoyed our tour, thanks to Ryu. He gave us a lot of historical background, informed us of current events and was overall very informative. We still got to enjoy the beauty outside Tokyo, enjoyed the pagoda and the shrines and the areas around the lakes. We initially looked at doing the bus tours but have no regrets about doing the private guided tour instead. Would highly recommend this if you are on the fence.
