Amazing tour—our guide Charlie truly made history come alive with the way he told the stories. It was so interesting to see Ybor City showcased in a way that highlights its incredible history. Nice pace-not too fast or too slow. We forgot our water bottles-but that’s on us. Our tour guide, Charlie, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He had so much information to share. Felt we got a great understanding of Ybor City and Cuban history. Would highly recommend.

We were in town for a tournament and was trying to find something economical to do with the kids before we headed back home. Found this tour online thought it was a good idea. I was not disappointed. Our tour guide had a wealth of knowledge of Mr. Ybor himself. My 17 year-old is not a history buff, but he was interested in the stories as he was listening to my 14-year-old daughter on the other hand she was bored, but she wasn’t driving me crazy bored because she had her teammates with her. I lived in Tampa for five years and didn’t know all that information about Mr. Ybor and we used to hang out in Ybor city all the time. My best friend and I used to eat at the spaghetti warehouse, which is now the Scientology place or at least attach to it. I am enclosing a picture of the former spaghetti warehouse for some reason I still smelled pasta..

Don't miss this tour! Outstanding, in-depth tour of Ybor. Joe is passionate of the subject and explains extremely well. You will leave very educated on Ybor - its history and personality. The walk part is really nothing, you go maybe 5 blocks with a lot of stops in between. Thank you Joe!

On a hot and humid day, suggest that participants bring a water bottle or buy one at the 7-eleven that is very close to the tour meeting point.

This tour was more historical presentation and less walking tour of Ybor historical places/ buildings. Steve is clearly an expert on the creation/ evolution of the city and a most interesting presenter.

Max was a great tour guide. He was excited to tell us all the stories regarding the history of Ybor City. He is excited to share this history and that was evident in his presentation. I usually have trouble “hearing” guides as I do wear hearing aids - but had absolutely no trouble hearing Max’s stories. Highly recommend this tour.
