We booked this tour because of the specific intiniary advertised. It stated we would visit 4 popular vortex sites, including Chapel of the Holy Cross. We purposely did not go there or any of the other places because we thought we would on this. Our guide told us the traffic was too bad and the areas were too busy, so if we wanted to do that we would only have time for one and would spend most of our time in traffic. So we went to a whole different area not mentioned.

Our group of 8 had an unforgettable experience today on the vortex Jeep tour with Red Rock Western Jeep Tours. From start to finish it was powerful, moving, and absolutely fun. The scenery was jaw dropping, but what truly made it special were our guides. Both of them were named Nate, and we couldn’t have asked for a better duo.
They didn’t just drive us through the red rocks. They helped us feel the energy of Sedona. Each stop gave us a chance to connect, reflect, and really take in the vortex experience. The ride was adventurous but comfortable, and the Nates had us laughing, learning, and occasionally a little awestruck.
If you’re looking for something beyond sightseeing, something that feeds your spirit and bonds your group, this is it. We left with memories we’ll be talking about for a long time.

We had a great time on the Sedona Vortex Jeep Tour! It was great to have a Jeep to ourselves and go at our own pace. Our guide, White Wolf, was quite a character and had tons of interesting information to tell us (vortexes, indigenous predictions, geology, UFOs, etc.). He pointed things out and told us stories the whole time we were driving around. We went up to a high plateau where a lot of other Jeeps were that had great views for photos. He got out a divining rod and showed us how the vortexes moved the rod. He also led us through a guided meditation session which was really cool. We booked the trip through Viator, and sometimes when you do that, it's confusing to know what you're actually getting. At the meeting spot, there were tons of different tour operators and the itinerary we went on ended up being totally different than what the ad said on Viator. The Viator ad said it would go to Sedona Creative LIfe Center, Airport Mesa, Chapel of the Holy Cross, Boynton Canyon Trail, and Cathedral Rock. Looking back on it now, that itinerary doesn't even make sense because you could never drive to all those places and stay for 20 minutes at each place but somehow fit the whole tour into 2 hours. We didn't go to any of those places, we just drove around and went to the one plateau. I guess I could have asked him at the beginning where we were going but I didn't think of doing that and just went with the flow. Also, a couple places he said we couldn't get out of the Jeep because they didn't have the right permits or something, so I felt like we were with some sort of sketchy company because it looked like other Jeeps had the correct permits. Just a bit odd. We didn't really see anything that we couldn't have seen driving around ourselves. But ultimately we were still pleased with the experience. The guide was enthusiastic and fascinating, it was nice to be driven around and fun to be in a bouncy, open-air Jeep, and the divining rod and meditation were special experiences. I would recommend this company, but just double check the details if you really want to see something specific. It might be a lot more straightforward to book with them directly instead of through Viator.

We went to book with Pink Jeep but our day/time wasn't available so we found this. And I am SO glad we did. They're independent and only do privates so it was just us and we could customize the outing however we wanted. Christopher could not have been a cooler guide - his knowledge of the desert and vortexes, and his overall energy and vibe for sure made this a highlight of our long weekend and first trip to Sedona. It will not be our last.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the earths history, the vortex, and the people of the town. She was nice and the ride was not as cold as we had thought because of the heated seats.
The only reason I’m giving it a four is because of the weather. It was raining and some of the places we were supposed to go or closed by the parks. That’s not their fault but that’s the only reason I’m not giving it a five. :-)

Nothing more than a tour of Sedona. I was expecting more of an in-depth vorti experience and was very disappointed.

When I booked the Original Vortex Tour I assumed that we would visit the Vortex, Get out and experience the Vortex , Not just drive by it, or not be able to get to it because it was to crowed.. The guide . although somewhat informative was a little to gabby on issues that had nothing to do with the tour. we had Five people on the tour, Three out of the five of us talked about these issues the other two just said nothing. Deeply Disappointed in what we got for our Money. My Advice is to Save Your Money, get a Vortex Map ( Available Everywhere in Sedona) and go to the Sites and get out and enjoy them at your leisure. They didn't take us anywhere that you couldn't drive yourself, nothing tricky

We did get to see 4 Vortex sites , including the Chapel in the Rock and get close to Cathedral Rock on this tour and Brad(Tour Guide) was informative, however we booked with Earth Wisdom Tours and they sent us to their sister company Red Rock Tours. Once we arrived and got going, it seemed like Brad was totally unaware as to what tour we booked and what the tour we booked was about!

A lot of the problem with this tour was the guide. Our tour was on May 14th and I don't recall his name. He spent a ton of time talking about a third eye, visions, problems in his personal life resolved via spiritualism, his Apache medicine man father, playing the guitar and yoga. He was very off the wall, nice but off the wall with endless talk. His exercises were a little hokey I filmed my mom and later we couldn't believe people fell for it hook, line and sinker. It was almost comical. We wanted to know the geological reasons tied in with the vortex experience, some spiritual significance, the history and not a bunch of weird chatter. He was polite and helped my elderly mom climb up to the plateaus, but it wasn't really a effective experience. Having said that, mom and I were doubled over in laughter looking at the videos. Not to put the guy down, but it didn't seem genuine to us although it was probably very genuine to him.

Kevin is a natural storyteller. Not only did he share personal tidbits, he encouraged us to tell our stories. The places were so unique and basically unaccessible to interested visitors without his guidance. His flute enhanced the magical places we visited. Worth every penny.
