Some of the highlights of the route include a drive through Oak Creek Canyon, which is considered one of the most beautiful canyons in Arizona, a 'little cousin' to the Grand Canyon. Drive the scenic route that runs between the creek and the towering red rock formations.
Airport Mesa is another highlight, where you'll want to get your camera out to capture this vantage point on the red rock of West Sedona. Then visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross, an architectural wonder that was built in 1956. The innovative building was constructed on a 250-foot (76-meter) tower of red rock, with an enormous window that illuminates the interior and frames the desert landscape and sky outside.
The tour ends with drop-off back at your hotel.

Mark our guide was excellent! He was very knowledgeable, and did a great job getting us comfortable with the Sedona area. We saw so much beautiful scenery, and he pointed out very interesting and different vegetation, and also gave us some history to fit in with the beautiful things we were seeing. Great intro to the area!

We toured the chapel of Holy Cross and stopped at other places like Airport vistas, and our tour guide JR was so knowledgeable of the area we were very impressed . We had 2 solo travelers that joined us so a small group of 4 made this a wonderful morning leaving us with the afternoon free . We were very glad we did this and would recommend !

The tour could be the same as if you were driving your own car. The guide was very professional kind and knowledgeable. I had other expectations. If I had known what I know now I wouldn’t have booked the tour.

I thought that the driver was very nice, especially when I experienced a bit of altitude sickness climbing up to the Chapel of the Holy Cross.. I appreciated her attentiveness to me. Thank you!
That said, I felt that we could have benefitted from some local history of Sedona, some info about the places we passed and some Sedona history.

Our guide Sheldon was great! We toured with a couple other small groups and he made everyone feel welcome and told us "today we are all family". :) Very friendly and energetic and knew everything you would want to know about the Sedona and greater Arizona area. The closed windows and climate control were nice in January. We all had a great time!

Bobby did a great job on this tour. He gave us time at each stop to take pictures and even do a little shopping. We went to great lookout locations and got a lot of good information about Sedona and the geological history of the area. I recommend especially if this is your first trip to Sedona!!

Our guide was so knowledge and willing to cater to our every desire or need we might have. The experience was amazing. We so enjoyed the picnic at one of the pull outs. I learned so much on this tour. I had visitors from Japan and knew I could drive them to the Grand Canyon but I could not make it such a great experience. All though I have been to the Grand Canyon before, I really feel I have really been to the Grand Canyon now. Brian was great in every way. Thanks for a great time.

The tour was fun and the guide was kind & knowledgeable about Sedona, he did keep yawning which made it seem like he was bored with giving the tour, the tour van was cool but wasn’t cool enough considering the 96 degree temps this particular weekend, I would recommend this tour, good pricing for the 2 1/2 hour tour time frame.

The guy was very nice and patient but he provided way too much information. The information provided was questionable, we believed around 60% of it. It did not help that he would start a story then halfway through mention another story then return to the first story. About half of us fell asleep.
They note that you will go to certain shopping areas, but they do not share you are driving though a bunch of parking lots.
I asked my family and they all agree it could been shorted by 45 minutes.

It is regrettable that you were not happy with your tour. Your group were the only ones on this tour and perhaps if you spoke with the guide during the tour, he could have adjusted the tour for maximum enjoyment. We advertise a professionally guided tour which one could ascertain would be filled with information. The parking lots you passed through were around the scenic areas in Sedona; filled with sights and sounds. We are proud of the tour we provided and there are literally thousands of reviews on this site in support of that belief.

Our tour was the most informative and interesting tour of Sedona we have ever taken. Our tour guide was raised in Sedona and shared not only the history of the town but added personal anecdotes that enriched our experience. This is a beautiful area and having the tips and guidelines provided by our guide made our vacation experience better than ever.

The tour guide did not point out the rock formations by name. Gave no information about the area
The traffic was bad (not his fault) and we didn’t get to the final stop.
We could have driven ourselves and saved a lot of money

Didn’t get to go all the places listed in the itinerary. Don’t take Friday late trips as this can conflict with local traffic. We skipped one stop the one we really wanted to go the most.
