This was exactly what I was looking for my first walk through Santa Fe! Read, download and follow instructions for everything sent before you go and it’s a breeze! The narrator is informative and speaks in a voice that is pleasant to hear. Stop and go at will but be sure to keep track of your stop numbers in case a narrative gets missed. Highly recommended!

It was easy to use and gave a great historical explanation of what we were seeing. Santa Fe is a walking town, this gave us a chance to stop and see other stores as we walked around.

It was a very interesting tour at our own pace which may have been the most important factor as we don’t do very well at altitude and wouldn’t have been able to keep up with a group. The information was interesting, the presentation was engaging and the app itself worked very well

Nice walk around the plaza in Santa Fe. Easy to use, just need to be patient and able to follow the map on your phone.
Very detailed and interesting historical info about the Pueblo Indians and the Spaniards.

We couldn’t get it to work. The address that was given did not exist so we couldn’t find anyone to help us. It was very disappointing!!!

Upon checking, it seems the provided password hasn’t been used yet, and our instructions clarify that it must be entered into the provided app (not the Viator app). We’ve double-checked the starting point, and I always recommend downloading the app and tour beforehand. If you’re unsure, our tutorial videos are available in multiple places to help guide you. I’m available daily from 9–6 EST to answer any questions. Our products are valid for a year, so there’s plenty of time to enjoy the tour, or I can help arrange an exchange or refund if needed.

A helpful self guided tour. Local sites are explained well. However, this tour only covers the eastern half of Downtown SantaFe. No mention of Cathedral Basilica St Francis of Assisi, Masonic Temple, new Mexico Museum of Art or New Mexico History Museum, which we walked right past. Overall, a good value but add a few more attractions and the tour would be great

I had to call a customer service rep to help me get the tour started. I couldn't find clear instructions for starting it in the viator app. Didn't need the viator app but it insisted I did. Only need the action tour app. Map narration instructions are not thorough. They don't say left or right, or which street to cross often enough. Many times I had to backtrack. Speaking of backtracking, I wanted to start in the middle of the tour, and then backtrack to the beginning. The agent said that was not option. But after the tour somehow started as I was crossing points in the middle, it did repeat the points for me as I progressed from the beginning. There's no instructions explaining the circles or colors on the map. I finally figured out that there's a range for each point as shown by the circle on the map. However, the location is finicky for those circles. Sometimes I had to cross the street to get the narration to trigger. I enjoyed the narration but it could have been more straightforward. I spent entirely too much time trying to install the app and figure out the eccentricities of the software.

It’s essential to start at the official starting point and follow the suggested route—starting in the middle or taking detours can cause the audio to go out of sync. The tour is valid for a full year after booking, so feel free to try it again. And if you need help at any point, my support team is always here to guide you through the app setup or assist with a refund or replacement if required.

Overall, this was an enjoyable tour. The narration was good and had interesting info. It was supposed to auto-play when you reached a certain spot, but sometimes that was glitchy and you had to press play yourself. Other than that, it was good!
