Great tour! A little hard to find at first, but well worth any confusion!! Felt private we were the only group there. It was amazing!!

After a confusing start, this was a great tour. We were told to show up 1/2 hour early and meet our guide after security, but the entrance didn’t open until 15 minutes before our tour and a number of tour groups that met their guides outside were allowed in before the rest of the waiting crowd, then you need to walk down a pathway before you get to the area where a number of guides were getting organized. Also note that security did ask to see identification along with your tickets, so make sure you have your passport or a copy of it with you. The tour took us to the underground part of the Colosseum and was very interesting. I’ve been on a Colosseum tour before, and this was my favorite.

You pay for this to take a tour at night w probably 2 other groups in total in coliseum at same time. Totally worth it. Guided tour was a little tougher. Guide was great but lots of things in underground portion where only 4 or 5 people could see at a time so the narrition and seeing it were disjointed often.

Our original 8 pm underground tour was cancelled and this 5:30 pm was the offered alternative. However, our group was asked if anyone had the underground tour as it was still going ahead! VERY dissapointed!!
It was very confusing to get in the Collisseum and the group had to seperate to go in at different times at a different gate, then find each other again. Took alot of extra time we could have used at the end.
The accent of the tour guide was very heavy and we could not understand alot of what was said. The 2nd part of the tour could not be completed because the Collisseum closed. We were told to come back the next day, which we could not do.
Only had 20 minutes to look around after because it closed. We would have been better off with a self-guided tour.

We did not get the night tour as promised. We are supposed to get a reimbursement for half the cost. Even so, the tour just felt a little disorganized from the start.

I couldn't give it 5 stars because I originally had the tour for evening...but it was cancelled 2 weeks before the trip. They were able to find a daytime tour that could fit our schedule.

Worst tour I’ve been on ever. Meeting instructions were not clear. Was told to meet Milton tours but was actually Rome tours. Could barely understand anything the guide said. Wasn’t given the tour described in description. Tour was supposed to be around an hour and 20 mins. The guide looked like he ran out of things to say and just ended it in the middle of the colosseum. That was 45 mins in. Everyone looked at each other like this is it? Would not recommend this tour. A waste of money

We booked a night tour but the Italian Ministry decided they weren’t offering night tours for the time being. The tour company offered to cancel and refund our tickets or take us on a day tour for half the price. We took their day tour and it was good.

I booked a nighttime tour of the colosseum to include the underground and the arena floor for $120 per person through Milon Tours. About a week before my tour, they messaged me saying that the tour was cancelled due to an ordinance out of their control. They gave me the option to refund my ticket or reschedule for an earlier tour that day with a 50% refund. We went for the tour and were unpleasantly surprised at the end of the tour that we would not be getting to see the underground or arena floor and only then realized that we had been scammed out of the full tour. We were not told that this tour would not include those areas otherwise I would never have had a tour of public places I could see on my own. TERRIBLE communication on their part for not telling us the change in itinerary and hoping to get away with it without telling me this was a completely different tour. Book with them at your own risk!

We didn’t get the night tour due to restrictions from the government. We were offered an afternoon tour with a50% refund and never heard from the tour company again - despite messaging them frequently. We are still waiting for the refund too.

The night tour avoids all the big crowds and allows plenty of time to see both the underground and arena. Experienced and knowledgeable guides explain all details. A few challenging stairs but they allow for slow going.
Definitely recommend.

I did the day tour years ago, and it was crowded and hot and didn’t show much. This one was miles ahead of the day tour. Not only was there only one other tour, but our tour guide really made the colosseum come to life. The history is so interesting. In this tour they take you underground to where the gladiators slept and where they walked out and where they eventually fought. Highly recommend!

This tour was great ! There was hardly any other groups inside the Colosseum at the time we went . The guide was very informative and interesting . We really enjoyed going under the floor and seeing the underground makings of the Colosseum . There were some stairs ( about 30 up and down ) but also a lift if someone couldn’t walk up or down them. It was peaceful being in the museum with so few people and the views at night were magical . Highly recommend this tour . Only glitch was our papers said to meet the person from the “ Milan Tours “ and the person we met had a sign that said a different company so we thought we might be in the wrong meeting spot which had us a little worried for a moment . Overall , this tour is a must do !

Nice guide with proper explanations. View of special parts of the Colosseum. The only thing is that when buying this tour from here, you pay for 3 extra intermediaries: this site deals with a tour, with a guy waitinf at metro station, that hires another guy from another “company” that ends up to just bring you from metro to colosseum door. A bit complicated just to make some extra money that explains the over price of this tour.

Treffpunkt an der Metrostation war leicht zu finden. Am Anfang gab es etwas „Verwirrung“ vom Veranstalter ( wirkte hektisch und coatisch) was das Problem war, war nicht wirklich zu verstehen, als es mit 20 Minuten Verspätung endlich los ging, hatten wir eine tolle Führung. Führung war auf englisch, es war sehr gut zu verstehen, Gruppengröße ca 20 Leute. Wir haben lange den unterirdischen Teil des Colosseum samt Gladiatorenkämpfen ( teilweise mit Video) erklärt bekommen, der Bereich ist eindrucksvoll ausgeleuchtet. Zum Schluss verweilt man während der Führung in der Arena. In die Ränge kann man nicht gehen und es gibt auch nicht wie beschrieben keine freie Zeit im Anschluss ( Nachts sei das nicht erlaubt). Die Führung endet 22 Uhr, hat aber auch erst 21 Uhr Uhr begonnen ( Treffpunkt war 20:30 Uhr). Fazit: tolles Erlebnis aber für 99€/Person ( unsere Tochter 13 J. galt auch als Erwachsene) einfach zu teuer.

O local é realmente lindo e visitar o subterrâneo é bem interessante… mas a saída do ponto de encontro atrasou, tivemos uma visita mais corrida do que acredito ser o normal. Infelizmente, sentimos q poderíamos ter visitado com mais calma caso não houvesse o atraso inicial.
Mas de uma forma geral, o guia tentou compensar com conhecimento e empolgação durante a visita.
