All the places we visited were excellent The waterfalls were beautiful, the black beach, the ice cave unforgettable, the views during the whole trip were amazing. Our guide and driver was good. The car :defender, was little uncomfortable . It was for 6 people but we are a family of 3 and the second row of the car was a really small for us for that long trip . Still a great tour

The day was amazing start to finish. Kalman was a great guide getting us to all the locations and missing the crowds. The ability to have our own personal guide in the super cool jeep was invaluable. The sights were breathtaking and being at the Katla glacier felt like we were on another planet. One of my top ten things I've ever done! It was so beautiful and surreal seeing the blue green ice on the lava and snow. Definitely a MUST DO if you are in Iceland!

The best tour!

This tour was amazing, and so was the guide, Thomas. Honestly, this is the only way to do this tour, in a very small group. While driving us to each destination, Thomas explained throughly the sites we were seeing and answered all of our questions. He also told us a little about the history of Iceland. Once we got to the ice cave, he helped us put on all our gear and gave us a personal tour of the cave. Do not go in the big groups, this is worth the money! Probably the best thing we did the entire trip.

Visiting the ice cave at Mt Katla in a semi-private group was definitely worth it. The tour guide was great with time and help us beat the big tour groups. Our groups (just 3 people + guide) had plenty of time to take photos, muck around in the snow and just absorb the beauty of the ice cave without anyone ruining the scenery (and photos). The route we take was great too. We ticked all the spots on South Coast. We had a great time doing this tour.

Carmen did a great job showing us waterfalls, vik and the black sand beach. Katla was phenomenal - he made us feel safe and made sure that conditions were safe before bringing us in different areas in the ice cave. A once in a lifetime opportunity!

i got lucky that i got to go on this tour myself (the others cancelled because of getting covid tests to return to usa). tour guide was one of the tour company's owners. very knowledgeable and very nice. saw a disappearing ice cave at katla and an emerging one. passed the crew making the witcher prequel! lots of waterfalls etc.
