Fantastic day! I was a little scared of the snowmobiling but it was great fun and I felt very safe. All the gear was provided so we weren’t cold at all which I was afraid of! The super jeep was tons of fun and we just had a very nice day!

This is the perfect day trip. The pickup worked perfectly, the driver was friendly, informative and safe. All the stops were great and although thr gullfoss stop could have been 10 minutes longer, in general the timing was perfect. The snowmobiling was exceptional & definitely worth the added expense. An unforgettable experience-a fun ride with fantastic views!

Excellent trip and worth the higher price. The snow mobile experience and vistas were unforgettable. We upgraded to having one each and was worth the every penny. Einar, our knowledgable, entertaining and fantastic guide, made this a 10/10 tour. We covered a lot in the time and although it is an exhausting day, we highly recommend it. Wrap up super warm, especially in December, and expect a more energetic experience than what is described. A certain fitness level should be specified for lots of steep steps at high altitudes and a long walk at the National Park. But, for an all round experience, this was great.

My husband, two friends and I went on this trip. We had an amazing time. Top tip is to take lots of warm clothing. The snowmobile part was definitely an experience. The waterfall was beautiful and the geezers so interesting.

We had such an amazing time with our guide Hilmar. He picked us up in a clean, warm off road truck with WiFi, we got to see so many sights and learn the history and snowmobile on a glacier in a warm snowsuit. We had lunch and saw geysers and hiked a national park, it was the highlight of our whole trip!

knowledgeable about Iceland and was willing to answer all of our questions. The ride around the Golden Circle was beautiful and the snowmobiling on the glacier was so much fun! I would highly recommend this tour and company to anyone visiting Iceland.

So much fun! We LOVED the glacier snowmobiling and all of the stops were amazing with plenty of time at each. Also, being in the Super Jeep was a blast! Our guide did a great job adding some off-roading to make a long drive fun. We brought my teenage son who barely cracks a smile and he loved it!!
You are in the Super Jeep the whole time (which we thought was great) but some people on the trip were surprised by that and expected a bus so flagging that.
This was more of an adventure activity than a traditional tour. Our guide was super nice and provided all the explanation we needed / answered questions, but he did not provide tour guide narrative the whole drive. We preferred it though because it is a long day so we napped during the long non-off roading portions of the drive to his fantastic playlist.
Anyway, had an amazing time! Will have a smile on my face every time I think of this!

Our tour guide Aussie/Ozzy (sorry for the spelling) was excellent. He was so warm and friendly with great knowledge and interesting facts of the areas we visited. All places we visited were fantastic but the best part was the snowmobiling. A full hour letting loose on the snowmobiles with fantastic guides ensuring everyone’s safety. All equipment was provided and excellent. We had the best day! Thank you 😊

Jeep is super cool, so much better than vans, so glad we did that. Our guide was great, kept us engaged the whole trip, gave lots of interesting facts and history of Iceland. Snowmobiling was such a blast. Being at the tectonic plates was awe-inspiring. Fantastic trip.

The experience was OK. The staff at the snowmobile park were some what of friendly. We drove for about hour. Beautiful scenery but hard to fully enjoy because frost kept developing on cover of the helmets. The snowmobiles need a tune-up. It was hard to keep the steering straight because it kept deviating to the left on its own. I would recommend to bring your own face mask, snow goggles, and snow gloves because theirs are trash. I got frostnip on all of my fingers and windburn on my face from using their cheap equipment. Other than that, the rest of the tour was great. The tour guide I was assigned to was friendly and informative.

This was a really great day especially travelling around in the Super Jeep. The driver was able to get ahead of the tour buses so we were at the Geysirs before the crowds. Off roading to get the the snowmobiling activity was also really fun.
We had a lovely day and a lovely driver who was very knowledgeable, it was worth every penny to experience the Golden Circle in style. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience we saw so much on this trip. Our driver and guide Anar was excellent on giving us information throughout the journey.
You don't receive a direct message from Activity Iceland like other companies do. When you are at your designated bus stop look out for white Mercedes super jeeps and number plates are ICE1, ICE2 or ICE3. There are multiple tours happening at the same time at these stops so it's much easier when you know what you're looking out for.
Your first stint is an hour and half in the jeep so make sure you are comfortable before getting on.
Our own drinks and snacks were handy for the trip. The Geysir has a shop you can grab a coffee / snack in as does the Gulfoss waterfall restaurant (full good options) much later in the day.
Toilets available at each stop.
On the route to the snowmobile you are off roading driving through deep snow. It is bumpy (not a little - a lot!) and you need your seat belt on. Luckily an experience we enjoy but if you get car sick, probably not for you as that was 40 mins up and the same 40 mins back down.
As for clothing, we went when it was -10*C so layer up. You get kitted out at snow mobiles with snow suits, gloves, bandana (please know these are thin bandana). Great fun though.
There were some kids on this trip age 7+ and they had a great time.
A map or laminate with dots on the places we were visiting would have been helpful and letting us see what to look out for on the route and manage expectations .
Awesome memories generated and would definitely do again.

An absolutely incredible trip. Our tour guide Aaron was brilliant providing interesting commentary throughout. Our very impressive super Jeep arrived on time to the bus stop. There were so many highlights but we especially loved the snowmobiling, watching the geysers exploding and viewing the waterfalls

It was a long day, but every stop along the golden circle was amazing. Our driver/guide, "Thor," was fun, informative and energetic (he also drove us in an incredibly cool SUV/Jeep). The geysers and waterfall were great, but the highlight was driving snowmobiles on the glacier! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour.

Our guide was excellent. He was very informative and shared many stories with us. Loved the snowmobile ride but the fog at on point made it nearly impossible to enjoy the view. Still had a great time. I would highly recommend this tour with Viator.

Everything was great except the fact that you told us to take a picnic - thing that you confirmed me again when I asked you by email if we could go to a restaurant instead.
So we bought one picnic (when you are a tourist without fridge in your hotel it’s not very practical) but during the excursion we stopped …. in a restaurant ! And we couldn’t eat our picnic in it… we had to stay outside in the cold…
As we wanted hot food we went to the restaurant and didn’t eat our picnic that cost us 30$ for nothing…

The beautiful views and the places we visited were amazing. The snowmobiles was not for me but everyone else enjoyed it.
Our guide was great and very knowledgeable and we felt very safe with him driving on the ice there was a slight hiccup with our transport but this was dealt with efficiently and without fuss.
It was a long day but saw some great sites and stunning scenery.

Snowmobiling was the best part of this tour. First, the driver left with the wrong couple. However, the tour company got us back to the tour by way of a taxi. Second, the tour guide was only a driver, not a tour guide. I would have expected more details about what we were seeing at each of the stops, but there was limited information. The sightseeing were areas that we could have done on our own, but the snowmobiling could only be done on this trip (cars cant drive there)

Great day out allowing us to combine the attractions of the Golden Circle with some adventure! The super jeep is amazing and the driver/ guide was knowledgable and entertaining. Snowmobiling great fun and well organised. It is a long day however with only 2 of the stops offering opportunity to buy drinks/ food so I would echo what a previous reviewer said and bring snacks with you - our lunch stop wasn’t until after the snowmobiling at nearly 3pm so without snacks and with children that would have been difficult!
