George picked us up from our hotel. He is a wonderful guide. He was able to tell us the history of Pittsburgh as well as explain how the city has changed over the last few decades. His knowledge of Pittsburgh’s sports history can’t be beat. A highlight was seeing the spot where the Immaculate Reception took place. George kept my child entertained and engaged the entire time.

The private tour of Pittsburgh was incredible and informative! Our tour guide, George De Bolt’s knowledge and experience of the area was incorporated into the tour and left us with a desire to visit Pittsburgh again to explore the city even further. George’s personality was fun and engaging, and he made sure our interactions were a part of the experience. This is one of the best city tours we have ever taken! George was very knowledgeable and passionate about Pitt. He knows everyone. Made Pitt seem.like a small town. Alot of Pitt history is sports history. Note that the Duquesne incline only takes cash (it was clear in viator description that the admission was not included but we just don't carry a lot of cash). We rode in his sedan; the four of us fit fine (husband is 6'4).

Ask for George. You will learn so much and it will be VERY enjoyable. When we return to Pittsburgh, we want to book another tour to learn more.
He was entertaining, interactive and we learned SO MUCH.
PLEASE bring at least 20$ in cash so as to pay for the Duquesne Incline fare; that part is cash only. (!! in 2025). Regardless, I highly recommend this tour.
