Doug was a former school teacher and is an engaging tour guide. He knows so much about the city we really felt educated about Pittsburgh. The bikes were older but very comfortable. Pittsburgh is a beautiful city.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable time getting to know Pittsburgh on a bike on a beautiful day; it was one of our favorite activities of our little getaway trip to the city. Doug was an excellent tour guide sharing his knowledge about the city with all of us. We highly recommend taking this tour!

Doug was very knowledgeable on the sites we visited he kept the trip lighthearted and fun. the trip was fairly easy but not hurried so it made for a nice time. We had stops along the way for his story time but the three hours went by fairly quickly.

The bike tour was perfect, Sarah is very knowledgeable and so fun! We learned a lot and enjoyed the slower pace as opposed to a bus tour.

Such a great way to see Pittsburgh! We learned so much about the city and saw quite a few different sites. Our guide Harry enjoyed sharing the history of Pittsburgh with us. Some of the highlights were downtown, the strip district, the Allegheny river and the bridges, and the sports stadiums. We covered a lot of ground in three hours!
Response from Host, Sep 2025

Plane landed early in AM so signed up for 10AM bike ride before checking in to hotel. It was the best idea because it is a great introduction to downtown and its neighboring areas. It gave me good ideas on where to check out the next few days on my free time. Cain was a super knowledgeable history buff who was passionate about his town. The bike ride was easy and leisurely with just one slight uphill climb near Duquesne and frequent stops for some photo ops and learning. I felt safe riding through town, most of which were on bike trails, only one street going down the Strip had to share with cars but it was fine. No cars honked they were yielding to us. I would recommend to do this on day 1 as a great introduction to the city of Pittsburgh.

I'm not an avid rider, and the tour was totally doable for all levels. Plenty of historical info, lots of beauty, and very friendly crew. Sarah was our guide, and I felt extremely safe and included the whole time. Definitely bring water and a snack. Bike comes with a small fanny pack to hold your phone, sunglasses, and a granola bar. Ride is also possible with a small backpack or cross body bag. Definitely recommending to friends.
Response from Host, May 2025
Sharon, thank you for the review and we're so happy you could join us.

This was an amazing adventure through the streets of Pittsburgh. From the moment we met our tour guide, Sarah‘s enthusiasm and knowledge of the city was obvious. She led us through the streets of Pittsburgh safely while stopping often to share some known as well as some unknown spots of Pittsburgh. I particularly liked riding the bike along the riverbank going down to the strip area. We highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get to know this beautiful city better. The company also offers walking and other tours as well which, if we had more time, we would take advantage of. Thank you Sarah!!
Response from Host, May 2025
Thank you so much for this enthusiastic review of our tour and our wonderful guide, Sarah! We hope to see you again on another tour. Thanks for joining us.

They called and canceled a day before. They seem to not have many sign up for this tour. Don’t don up if you don’t want your plans to change.
Response from Host, Sep 2024
Hi thanks for signing up for a tour and we are sorry your particular tour slot (Friday at 2pm) did not have any other sign ups and enough people to run the ride. For perspective, this tour runs every day, sometimes twice. The morning bike tour on the same day and the two bike tours the following day also ran as normal and were not canceled. We are sorry in your disappointment but I don't think it deserves a 1 star review. We let you know 20 hours in advance that the tour would likely be canceled because we needed at least two people to run the ride and gave a full refund at your request because the other time slots and rides that would be going were not an option with your schedule.

We loved all the information about Pittsburgh’s history and architecture. It was an easy bike ride to really interesting and beautiful destinations. A little tricky for some of our crew to keep up.
Garett_G, Jun 2024
The weather was beautiful and the tour was very bike friendly. From the designated bike lanes on the downtown streets to the riverfront trails, this tour was very bike friendly and family friendly.
Emanuel_K, May 2024
It's a nice way to see parts of Pittsburgh and the 3 river confluence. There is also quite a bit of talking and stopping during the tour, so don't expect to cover a lot of miles. Kane, our tour guide, did a great job managing the group and explaining the city history. it was a very enjoyable experience. I would have liked to have a few more photo stops since there were some really cool things to photograph along the way. The terrain is mostly flat, so the traditional bikes were just fine. No need to use an E-bike.
Jessica_M, May 2024
