Our “investigator” Debbie...

Our “investigator” Debbie was very knowledgable, not only with the activities of the spirits but also of the town’s history. However, we had hoped it would have been more of a walking tour. We sat in a reception room at the Lakeside Inn for the first 40-45 minutes of the tour listening to “ghost” stories, which were interesting but we felt the session was a little long.

We do want to clarify that you selected our 2-Hour Investigative Walking Tour, which is designed as our "sampler" experience. It includes local history, ghost stories, and a mini paranormal investigation using ghost-hunting equipment. American Ghost Adventures is well known for its interactive investigations and hands-on use of paranormal equipment, which is a signature part of this experience. If you were looking for a tour that is entirely focused on walking and storytelling, our Haunted Walking History Tour would likely have been a better fit. That tour is completely outdoors and concentrates on Mt Dora's haunted history without the investigative portion. We also left you a voicemail because we'd genuinely appreciate the opportunity to make things right and earn that 5-star review.
